Recently, Lowell Feld a founder of RaisingKaine who helped successfully engineer 2 incredible netroots victories for Governor Tim Kaine and most recently Senator Jim Webb approached me about something.

Go to Kos and please recommend! (and leave comments)

He never said he's not going to run and he's not going to commit to a timeline on when he has to announce. The early campaign season is good for two groups of people - the fundraisers and the consultants. The average citizen won't make up their mind until much later in the game.

Daily Kos: Why I Support General Wesley Clark For President

Then, I have been seeing this race unfold since then and I have come to the conclusion that Clark is the best candidate for the Democratic Party in 2008 and have come to the conclusion in all seriousness and honesty that he could beat any Republican in 2008.

Clark Clearly The Dark Horse Candidate Now

|

djm4america's picture

I just wrote a diary on Daily Kos, link below please read and recommend!

With Tom Vilsack out, I think Wes Clark is clearly the Dark Horse candidate now. For a long time I thought that Vilsack may have edged out Clark in this category being that Visack is a Governor, and the immediate Governor of Iowa.

But, I did't anticipate Vilsack's entrance to have so few supporters. Although Kos is correct in saying that Clark support is fading it's still very strong, and he's clearly #3 in Netroots support right now.

Wes Clark For President

I wrote this in August of this year, I posted it on Daily Kos but I thought CCN might like to read this.

This is my last foray in politics for a while, but with it being my last 11 weeks (now 18 days) in politics for some time to come I would like to make it a time where I put all of my thoughts on the line. I didn't want to look beyond 2006 due to the fact I didn't want to divide any of the support of democratic candidates this year.

In particular Jim Webb, Ned Lamont, and Jon Tester. However, being that I hate standing on the sidelines and because of this recent call of courage from Clark, I can wait no longer.

Remember Me?

Media Spin on Ex-Generals

djm4america's picture

Watching ALL of the networks talk about these now including Clark 7 ex-generals call for Rumsfeld's outster..

They are spinning it to make people think in some way these former uniformed officers are in some way unpatriotic.. maybe I am the only one who notices it???

CNN was asking viewers if they thought these ex-generals would hurt troop morale????

FOX was saying why did they not speak out in uniform?

MSNBC courtesy of Tommy Franks was saying that although they do have the right to speak out they don't know what they are talking about because most of these generals didn't do any of the planning or discussions with Rumsfeld.
