A few months back, at the dawn of 2007, some of the house staff at Second City started a small production group with the mission of making internet video shorts. “What are you doing? Why?  You’re such a dork. You’re going to walk up to that man with five copies?  I’m embarrassed for you.  How much are these? ”

My darling husband was somewhat aghast.  Well, actually, that’s putting it lightly.  He was down right apoplectic when I marched into the Borders Bookstore on Michigan Avenue last night, picked up four copies of “A Time To Lead” and headed toward the register.

Hey! Everybody!

It's a party!

A shin-dig!

A hoot'n'nanny! (with a whole lotta hoot and just a little bit of nanny.)

Settle down, settle down. We're having a nice, casual, get together here in Chicago. All Wes and WesPAC supporters are cordially invited to join in - or anyone of the political blogging persuasion who just wants to hang out for a couple of hours and enjoy the company of Clarkies.

Out of the frying pan into the fire?  Open to all speculation... where do you think this is headed? I'm wondering if we're going to have an art contest for the design of the new "amero."

Everyone into the water for some cooling off and exercise.

Fresh caught fish for dinner.  And campfire on the shore when the sun goes down.

Get that aerial straightened up - on with the proceedings!
