Why's Everyone being So Darn Hard on John Edwards <snark>

Ethics and values
Normally I’d say, “That’s a rhetorical question.” But, it seems there really are quite a number of people out there - voters - who are having difficulty understanding why other people, especially supporters of other candidates and some members of the media, are talking about the former senator less than favorably.
Well, since the man I would be supporting isn’t currently a candidate, and none of the others candidates of any party are as yet even remotely interesting, I’ll take a stab at answering the Edwards question with us much impartiality as I can muster.

brilliant writers
One of the greatest writers and analytical minds of our time died Monday, in a car accident, near Dunbarton Bridge, in Menlo Park California. He died instantly, pierced through the heart, so said several news reports, while being driven to a speaking engagement.
David Halberstam has a special place in the hearts of most Clark supporters because of what he wrote about General Clark in "War In A Time Of Peace".
If you want to know more about him, the best place to start is by reading all the other books he wrote. You won't be disappointed, I assure you. Take a look on Amazon.com at :

Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley resigned yesterday, according to FOX's breaking news a few minutes ago.
It's also possible he'll be reduced in rank by one star.
Ok - those are the facts. Now for my opinion...
Good! I can't think of anyone, at the moment, who deserves to lose a star more than Lt. Gen. Kiley. Maybe he'll do inspections in his next job - the arrogant ass.
