Hey,.. yep I made it here! :) How could I not? ;)
First, I have to include the UStream.tv video of Clark's speech featured at YKos website, mostly because I actually had little time to actually listen to him attentively while taking pics .

A truly inspiring evening once again with our General.
[Note: As you may have learned to expect from me,. .this will be one of those "to be continued later" blogs. I got back a little late and wanted to share a few photos and comments with y'all. ;)]
Part I: The Teaser:
Clark has never failed to lead.
I ♥ Chicago II

Aside from the great Clarkie reunion on Friday night, I wanted to experience my last day at Chicago wandering the streets; instead of blogging about our troubles and hopes for a democracy once adored. So I had 2 hours to wander and experience the sights and sounds of Chicago before my flight back to my world.
Here are some shots that I wanted to share with CCN as I took a detour from McCormicks onto Michigan Ave, Lolapalooza and the Art Gallery of Chicago.
I hope you're "impressed" by Renoir and Monet, particularly. :)
CNN/YouTube Democratic Debate Thread (7.23.07)

Democratic Primary Debates | DNC | Democratic politics

Might as well have a separate thread(?)
Since there may be little substance to them:
1. Who had the best YouTube question?
2. Who had the worst?
3. Which Dem candidate had the best hair? ;p
4. Which was the best "softball" question?
5. Recommend other questions?
Go for it :I

Any comments on Wesley Clark's appearance on Alan Colmes Show? (5.30.07)
Submitted by Knightrider on May 30, 2007 - 10:35pm.
Wesley Clark

It's an open thread! :)
I heard most of it, but thought this needed a dedicated thread. ...
Colmes first question was to ask Clark whether he planned to run. Clark responded in words very familiar to us,.. "I haven't said that I won't" :)
Well, I still have faith.
But what was more revealing to me about a possible Clark 2008 run was the caller from AZ, who admitted that he was a conservative Republican, who greatly respected Clark and then appealed to Clark to run. :)

Hey Clarksters,
I'll just post pics for now with this slideshow until I get a chance to assimilate/write a blog entry and post greater detail tonight (psst, but he did convey, it takes Leadership! ;) <ehm,... more later tonight!>. But for now, here are some pics from his keynote address to the attendees at the Kenney Room of JHU-SAIS.

A Young Peace Activist Goes to Washington (DC Peace Rally, 1.27.07)

Today, I had the pleasure to meet "da' kid", the son of CCN blogger, richsezclark4prez. Together they traveled over 8 hours to Washington, DC (in a car apparently running on 4 squirrels) to attend the DC Peace Rally and march against President Bush's US troop escalation in Iraq.
As a Clarkie, "The Kid" is one of our nations youngest peace activists, and his participation holds promise that for the next generation he will fight for everything that we believe in, just like his father done for ours.
So please join us in our DC Peace Rally and March (complete 114 photo slideshow)in protest of President Bush's US troop escalation to Iraq, ... as "Sean" participates in his first major rally to exercise his freedom of speech and his right to assemble in peace, as well as for peace. ...

On Thursday January 10, 2007 at 7pm, loyal DC-Metro Area Clarkies officially gathered for the first unofficial National Wesley Clark for President 2008 Meetup -- an event I could not miss!
Afterall, we are driven under common cause and purpose -- in support of a REAL leader to become the next President of the United States!
