Hillary was magnificent last night. The woman power in the room was also remarkable. For every woman in the room there were thousands around the country who want Hillary on the ticket. We need to harness our strength for Hillary as quickly as possible.

We want Hillary on the ticket as the Vice-Presidential nominee because we do not believe we will win if she is not on the ticket.

If you listen to the press and all their talk about the "math" for Hillary, you may be surprised to learn that there is a meeting of the Rules Committee of the DNC on May 31 in Washington to decide how to seat the Florida and Michigan delegations and whether to count the votes of those two states. That changes the "Math" entirely. The decision to punish Michigan and Florida was always subject to the review of the Rules Committee and the Credentials Committee for the Democratic Coconvention. Despite what you have heard in the Media, disenfranchising these two states was never a fait accompli.

OXFORD, England -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will capture the presidency in 2008 unless the Republican Party can rise to meet the challenge, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said Thursday.

DeLay, once a pillar of the Republican establishment and still a fierce Clinton opponent, said the New York senator had the intelligence and organization to beat her Democratic rivals _ and her Republican opponents.
