State Package for Hillary Clinton
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may tread me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits' end, but she has always risen, always risen, don't forget she has always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.
Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her.

UK's New Statesman US correspondentGloating, unshackled sexism of the ugliest kind has been shamelessly peddled by the US media, which - sooner rather than later, I fear - will have to account for their sins

The Will Of The People Is Not In The Pledged Delegate Count

2008 Presidential Candidates | Democratic politics

Big Tent Democrat takes a look at how undemocratic (lowercase d) the process for choosing our Democratic presidential nominee is. If we only had a "free press" that would inform the people of how this works, perhaps there would be a groundswell of support to change the system. As it is, I don't think many are aware, or even care how unrepresentative the process actually is.

The following article was linked by Jeralyn at Talk Left. Mr. Gonzalez reveals important information not being exposed by the media regarding Senator Obama's past actions in the Senate on many issues.
I only hope it's not too late for people to open their eyes and realize we've got a real champion in Senator Clinton, ready and willing to lead our country out of the huge mess that will be left once GWB and his wrecking crew are gone.

email from Alexandra Massa:
Friend and Supporter,
I don't usually get the opportunity to talk all of you, but with my Dad's birthday coming up, I wanted to write you a quick note. This Sunday is my Dad's birthday, and I'm hoping you can help us celebrate by giving a gift to his campaign for Congress in New York's 29th District. Your birthday present is really a gift to the future as my Dad works to bring change to the families of the District.

First, I have to give major thanks to my buddy, Erik, who drove up to the Lake from Santa Cruz, else I would not have been able to attend the event in Reno last night. He also took most of the photos (except for the blurry ones that I'm not in), and I have to apologize in advance that my face appears in almost all of them... D'oh!
We arrived at the Reno Hilton around 6 pm, and the Nevada Room was deserted, except for big round tables with white tablecloths, and Jill Derby for Congress signs hung on the walls of the conference room.
We wandered through the massive, somewhat sparsely populated Hilton, stopping in a richly and comfortably furnished piano bar to await the opening of the Nevada Room where the reception was to be held.
