General Wesley Clark's speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention

Just for the record, THE speech has always been online. It can be found in my FAVORITE clips on my home page. It's in flash, scroll down in my VIDEO SPOTLIGHT to DNC Speech. However, I just uploaded a windows media version. It's 19.5 MBs but should stream okay for most. If not, just RIGHT CLICK, SAVE AS, and you will have a copy on your PC for those blue days. Oh what might have been! Someone hand me the kleenex please....

I've had a song in my head for quite awile now and finally had a few days to work it into a video. Yeah, I have 5 days vacation.......so, what better way to put my time off to work?
The song I used is "Deja Vu". I hope you like it. The media and the message really disturb me.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've received notification from my webhost that I'm violating copyright laws with my videos and unless I can provide them with "permissions" from the sources, then I'm toast. I've responded with my "fair use" statement, but doubt it will suffice. I just wanted to let everyone know today, in case you want to suck down anything before it's gone. For all I know, it may be suspended today at some point
For those who can't yet support the top of the ticket

I was where you are. After the McSame VP choice and doing my own research on her, we in this household can no longer sit idly by. This nation has lost 8 presidents in office. I could not even imagine a Palin presidency.

Nearly 600,000 Subject to Possible Caging in Ohio

Okay Clarkies......we need some brain storming on this. I'm sure OHIO is NOT the only state this is happening in. Thoughts?
How many voter-registration mass mailers are "returned to sender" in the run-up to Election Day may determine how many Ohio residents are eligible to vote.
Ohio election officials are sending out a mass mailer stamped “do not forward” to all registered voters today (Sept. 5) with an absentee ballot application and other important notices for Nov. 4.

I ran across this while searching for something else. I felt compelled to post some of it here. This is no surprise to most, but disheartening for the American people. How will we ever get to the issues this country needs to face and solve if we spend so much of our time on faux outrage? Thoughts?
I’m brought to tears
Submitted by Ice on June 8, 2008 - 9:17am.
First, let me say, that I’ve never left CCN. I’ve been a lurker for many months. I just don’t like conflict and avoided it by not posting to anyone. I still wanted to feel connected to this community since I’d invested so much of my time over the years, so I hid and bit my tongue. But, as I sit and read one political blog after another these past few days, I’m brought to tears. Not tears necessarily for what is and has been said about each other or Senators Clinton and Obama but for my country and your country.
