It is also noteworthy that the northern border of Israel is predominately Islamic, since they took over that part of Palestine. Ariel Sharon himself said "He would not go into Lebanon again."
***The current president of Israel has no military background, and merely states "It's not like making a pizza." He sure went into Lebanon like he was making a pizza. Lebanon's government was only 20 years old, and you do not put up a government, like you make a pizza. You sure can tear it down with a few bombs, very quickly. All you need to do is bomb the town halls and the police stations, as Israel has found so effective in Palestine on numerous occasions. At the same time Israel has moved as far south in Gaza as ever, and so Hamas must be making plans of theirs, too.

People Prone to "Accidents" with Bombs, Shouldn't be Dropping Bombs at All!There are more Hezbollah now than ever. That's no surprise. Why is it OK to criticize The United States Government, but if you criticize Israel's, then you are antisemitic. Sadly, with this dreadful offensive, Israel has not only created more support for Hezbollah in their surrounding neighbors, but antisemitism, all over the world grows with every bomb they drop. Inevitably this isolation will lead to Israel fighting a war on all FOUR FRONTS! It's a shame that Israel swong to the right, when they had so many posiblities back in the 90's.

As this war lingers on, it becomes increasingly appearant that The United States has moved into a direction where we no longer expect or demand both sides of the story. Maybe that's why it is so difficult, and perhaps impossible to untwist it?
