Attorney General | President Bush | The Whitehouse | U.S. Attorney's | Democratic politics

Can you say spineless. President Bush’s refusal to have Carl Rove and others to testify under oath is simple. If these people testify they will be forced to admit to wrong doing or commit perjury. The President’s position that aides must feel free to express there opinion without fear of being hauled in front of various committees. I’m sorry, the President is trying to press as he always has that the executive branch of government is not accountable to the congress or anyone else. When the President feels that he is not accountable to anyone on any issue, this provides a violation of the constitution as well as everything that this country stands for. To allow them to only testify behind closed doors with out transcripts. This violate the President’s accountability to the people. The Presidents actions border on dictatorship and makes him no better than the regime that he seem so proud of toppling in Iraq. About the only difference is that as of know the administration has not released W.M.D.’s on California. This administration has tortured people, conducted unlawful search and seizures, Out covert agents for political reasons, lied to the people on countless occasions and the list goes on and on and on. Finally, if the President doesn’t want aides to feel fear about what they might advise him to do, how about they simply do not advise him to do something illegal and they won’t have anything to worry about.

He believes he is a dictator appointed by God.
Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right.

and I will say the same thing here. I am a Christian and his god is not a god I know. My god believes in caring, compassion and truth above all. those are three qualities this man does not have.
As before, they are covering their a****, nothing more.

He does think he's a dictator.
What infuriates me is that Andrea Mitchell and Chris Matthews are HIGH on the fact that Rove won't have to testify under oath.
We better hope Leahy gets his dander up and goes thru with the subpoenas.
I'm disgusted. Mostly with MSM.
I worry there is a trap for Dems..... that's what worries me. Oh well. I do hope I'm wrong.
