Michael Moore on CNN

Anybody else saw Michael Moore on CNN? I could have sworn at the 2:40 mark he was talking about Clark but then Wolf Blitzer chipped in "Al Gore". What do you think?

that it was pretty clear that Moore was talking about Al Gore; as for Clark, the only healthcare statement I could (immediately) find was one from a 2003 stump speech, and he didn't seem to advocate immediately implementing single-payer healthcare, as Michael Moore does (though Clark seemed to want the country to move in that direction, and he spoke of "universal healthcare").

I would love to hear Gen. Clark's reaction to the movie, and whether it has changed his ideas about healthcare. There are so many heartbreaking stories out there about people being denied care because they can't afford it. If Gen. Clark got in the race as the "single-payer healthcare" candidate, he would be the only (viable) candidate advocating such a thing. On that basis alone, I think there would instantaneously be a ton of people who would gravitate to him (including Michael Moore!).

When a respected general tells the American people that we can achieve single payer healthcare, it would seem to me that a lot of skeptics would have to consider it!
