...on the Fort Worth Stockyards event on Saturday. Unfortunately, my bosses had the bad timing to schedule an important meeting at 1pm Friday, so I can't sneak off to drive to Waco and see both Wes and Hillary :(

drivin' 300 miles over to Galveston on Saturday. Might be fun to exchange a few words with General Clark. Done it before for work, maybe good to get out of town. 50+ mpg in a diesel, time to think, we'll see.

But alas, it seems you will be headed out when we're headed in... :(

Nonetheless, I'll be drumming up voters, banging down doors, and doing whatever it takes to get those Cowboy hatted, boot wearin', Electric Slidin', belt buckle sportin', jalapeno eatin' Texans to get out to Primary AND to Caucus for Hillary!!

Clarkie ready to take action here--

And to top it off- I got my "IMPORTANT" email today and responded:

Dear ms

Thank you for your generous contribution. We are at a critical stage in the campaign, and our online supporters like you are making the difference. The more people we reach, the more resources we will have to help Hillary win.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION RECEIPT:

DATE: February 29, 2008 3:19 PM EST
NAME: MS in LA

AMOUNT: $XX.xx
_________________________________________________

Thank You General Clark for all you continue to do to try to set our country back on course again. You are tireless and relentless, and we all appreciate it more than you know. Lately it seems that so many disparate forces are working against our efforts to promote Hillary and help ensure her successes - Media from the right, Media from the left, bloggers from all directions, and even bloggers here at home base -- But you forge ahead as usual, undeterred, pouring your heart into this campaign city by city ... and you set a sterling example for the rest of us to follow. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring so deeply and for acting with such conviction, never allowing popularity quotients to influence your stand. You soothe us when we might otherwise be discouraged by naysayers or self-doubt... and offer us a real tonic with which to brace ourselves for the next round of this hard fought primary contest.

So for all of that: Thanks Thanks and Thanks again!

...to our great state - Shark free waters and even the Repubs don't really bite that hard (I've found them pretty polite during my neighborhood canvassing and a few I've got coming to the caucus with me). Watch out for the fire ants however.

Look forward to it. Well... not the fire ants part. :/

It will be a quick turnaround I believe. Just for the primary. Details pending.... :)

I'll be rooting for someone else but I hope everything goes well for him down there. I'm always glad to see him out campainging.
