You want to campaign in Iowa with General Clark. Admit it. You want to go.

It's ok - we have a support group just for you, and it meets in Des Moines on Dec. 27th! Please bring your family, your friends, and others you think would benefit from this support.
Seriously - we want you to come to Iowa and campaign with General Clark. For all who lamented not having the chance to do this with the General in 2004, well, now you can. Ok - so it's not exactly the same, but it's just as important and will mean a hell of a lot to General Clark, and, more importantly, the future of the country.
Come on and join us! What could be better? The snow, the fluffy whiteness of the ...snow, the holiday cheer, watching your breath crystalize in your mouth, not feeling that ache in your muscles (because you no longer can feel your extremeties anyway), hot apple cider, irish coffees, fruit cake, snow angels, expressing the true art of clothes layering...need I say more?
Ok - all kidding aside - I'm completely serious and time is short. Please email me right away at kellyflinn@securingamerica.com and get signed up to go to Iowa Dec. 27th & 28th.
(I'm also looking for those of you who want to got to NH, SC, NV, and any other states, or sponsor people to travel to states to campaign)

;-)

any idea of potential New Hampshire dates? About Iowa- I could have the time available, but a question of logistics & since I'd choose to drive most likely, subject to winter weather- but I'm going a little stir-crazy behind the keyboard...

(so much for the soft sell, yeah?)
Not sure about the NH dates yet, but I'm hoping we'll know very soon.
How long a drive is it for you (in hours)?

To Waterloo, from central Pennsylvania, 16 hours one way, but I have a newer car that sits in the driveway most of the time since I telecommute & gets great gas mileage - Would only be about $200 in gas plus a hotel or three. I didn't get to campaign with Wes for Wes, so this would be as good as it gets. I volunteered for six weeks in the 93 floods as a Red Cross Disaster Services social worker there while I was in college in & around Waterloo, so I'm familiar-ish with that part of the region- I picked that since it seems to be in the middle.
Of course if DORMA would come it would more FUN. :)
I can Christmas present myself, heh! NH is about 6 hours one way. More realistic but rougher weather?
I need to clear my head for the New Year. This would be a good reset.

Isn't she also in PA? I agree you'd have a great time with Dorma if you can pick her up on the way. Then there all the Ohio Clarkies who might join the trip west. Something to think about, eh?

through parts of Oklahoma and Kansas, so anyone from there considering driving and worried about driving alone - you all can hook up and make a conga line out of this - keep each other awake, loaded with coffee, and laughing the whole way!

Maybe jai would like to make the trip with her clan. Everybody better bring whatever they need for snow. It's good to have an emergency kit in the car, blankets, something to eat and drink, etc...

Are there any plans in the works for SC?

I have a work schedule that's going to get in the way, I haven't even thought seriously about it.
Hmmm....I'm really not that far away...hmmm...I have to be home on the 30th for work...hmmm....
Come on, after all those trips to WI for Kerry, Iowa will be a breeze!
I'm trying to rearrange my work schedule, and right now it looks like an 80% chance I'll be able to go to Iowa!
Proud to be an American.
Dorma is fabulous - I expect we'll have some very positive reports coming in Thursday, Friday and maybe even on Saturday. :)

...here. Make sure that on the right, where it says, "If you are traveling with a group, please enter your group description below," you enter "Wes Clark group." That will accomplish two purposes: you'll be assigned with other Clarkies, and Clark will get the "credit."

let me know as fast as you can - today, would be really good, lol.
This would be providing a place to sleep and shower, mostly, for a Clarkie coming from another state, on the next Thursday and Friday.
Please email me if you can do this, at
Thanks a million!

lodging, for at least two people willing to share a room. If I can find something like a Courtyard by Marriott, one that'll handle up to four - more the better.
The caveat is that I won't know where to book the room until tomorrow. So the first two people who email me about this, get it. And please - if you can afford to pay for your own room, leave this offer for those who want to go and can get there, but can't also afford a place to stay.
Consider this my Merry Christmas, lol!

How kind of you, Kelly. A great gift. I wish I were in a position this year to add to the pot. I've simply given too much money away for politics in the last four years and the well is running dry. Plus, I ended up staying two extra days in Lubbock for Thanksgiving owing to the weather.
But let me testify. I have paid from $50 to $400 to get people to places or into events before, and I can't tell you how good I felt about it. I think I got more benefit from those occasions than my benficiaries did.

Just trying to tie up a few loose ends. Whoo, it's going to be great!

$100 to the Irish coffee (or otherwise) "MWR" fund for the lucky bunch who do make the trip. I'll email you, Kelly.

Wes Clark still could be the national security candidate.

Hillary is lucky to have her knocking on doors. She's so positive.
