Mitt Romney is right that Obama "can't be calling foul or unfair" IF nominated!

Hello Everyone:

I definitely think that Mitt Romney is right and I believe that he gave Democrats a very fair warning about what Barack Obama will be in for during the general election IF he is the nominee when he said on CNN last Thursday, April 3 "I really think that in politics, you can't be talking about what's fair and what's not fair, basically. It's a tough sport.

If you get into the political arena, and particularly in the championship arena, running for president of the United States, you're going to be looked at on every different angle. People are going to evaluate you in the ways they would like to do it. And you really can't be calling foul or unfair. You just have to be there and take what comes" when he was asked about Obama and the Jeremiah Wright issue:

THE SITUATION ROOM

Obama's March Fund-Raising Haul; Bank Bailout Rage; Interview With Mitt Romney

Aired April 3, 2008 - 16:00   ET

SUZANNE MALVEAUX, CNN ANCHOR: "I want to turn to something more personal. When you were running, a lot of people talked about your faith, being a Mormon. And there were some people who unfairly held it against you.

Do you think that Barack Obama is being treated fairly when you take a look at some of the comments made by his controversial pastor?

MITT ROMNEY (R), FMR. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: You know, I really think that in politics, you can't be talking about what's fair and what's not fair, basically. It's a tough sport.

If you get into the political arena, and particularly in the championship arena, running for president of the United States, you're going to be looked at on every different angle. People are going to evaluate you in the ways they would like to do it. And you really can't be calling foul or unfair. You just have to be there and take what comes.

And I think people are going to look at the comments of Reverend Wright and take them for what they are..."

I have credibly documented that Obama will have a very hard time trying to avoid Jeremiah Wright as being a top issue in the general election IF he is the nominee:

ANALYSIS: It will be hard for Obama to run away from Jeremiah Wright's comments!

In this Dan Abrams video from February 28, Republican strategist Cheri Jacobus openly talks about how that Bill Cunningham and "the smear guys on the far right" (which is what Dan Abrams calls them) will for certain be attacking Obama over his middle name, his not wearing a lapel pin, and over other issues IF he is the nominee:

DAN ABRAMS, HOST:  "The RNC, Karl Rove and party officials get to take the high road by saying, these tactics are out of bounds, while they get the right wing radicals to go out and do the dirty work.

Joining us now is Republican strategist, Cheri Jacobus; and still with us is Peter Beinart.  Cheri, is this going to be the strategy that the McCains of the world and the Republican National Committee get to say, we denounce this and then, there‘s a sort of understanding that they are going to say it anyway?

CHERI JACOBUS, REPUBLICAN STRATEGIST:  "That‘s already been said.  And the reason this has been magnified, for one thing is because you and others in the media had given Bill Cunningham a big megaphone this week.  He‘s now a star.  Prior to this, I don‘t think anybody outside of Ohio even know who he was.  So, let‘s just be honest about that.  You guys are talking about this, you know, naivete..."

In this Dan Abrams video from February 27, Republican Congressman Jack Kingston actually defended extreme right wing attacks on Obama and he openly talked about what Obama will definitely be in for IF he is the nominee in the same sense as what Mitt Romney was talking about above:

Far-right smear machine

Feb. 27: The right wing has already begun an assault on Barack Obama’s patriotism, calling attention to his middle name, his refusal to wear a flag lapel pin and a photo of him in African garb. Dan Abrams asks Republican Congressman Jack Kingston what’s next. Full story

Rep. Kingston in the transcript of this video correctly explains how that Hillary has the handicap of not being able to unleash the kind of extra heavy attacks on Obama right now that will for certain come up during the general election from the other side IF he is the nominee:

REP. JACK KINGSTON ®, CONGRESSMAN FROM GEORGIA:  "Well, let me say this - I can bring that up, but it‘s the left that wants to continue talking about it, that‘s why the right is going to do it.  That‘s why that Bill Cunningham is bringing up the middle name because it seems to drive the left crazy.  And we‘re having a good time watching it.  You know, listen, Dan.  You‘ve got to remember, Hillary Clinton has not been able to attack Obama.  (UNINTELLIGIBLE) contest because she has to be very, very careful.  But with general elections, I have no problem.  It‘s wide open..."

I have already documented the handicap that Hillary has right now about attacking Obama that the other side definitely will NOT have in the general election IF Obama is the nominee:

I have also documented that Obama has virtually no understanding about this concept of what the other side will do to him which in my opinion makes him NOT electable in the general election IF he is the nominee:

Republicans Mitt Romney, Cheri Jacobus, and Jack Kingston have given Democrats a very fair warning about what Obama will definitely be in for during the general election IF he is the nominee which I have very thoroughly and credibly documented in this post!

Please forward this information on so that more Democratic primary voters will understand that Barack Obama will more than likely NOT be electable in the general election IF he is the nominee short of getting some kind of a very lucky break that happens in his favor!

IF nominated, Obama not understanding what the other side will do to him in the general election means that history will probably repeat itself where he will get swiftboated and will be negatively defined as a candidate by the other side in 2008 just like how John Kerry got swiftboated and was negatively defined as a candidate by the other side in 2004!

This valuable lesson which James Carville gave to Obama supporter Jamal Simmons about how powerful that the GOP attack machine is from the other side is very important for ALL Democrats to fully understand BEFORE this primary race is over:

CNN LATE EDITION WITH WOLF BLITZER

Interview With Senators Bill Nelson, Mel Martinez

Aired March 30, 2008 - 11:00 ET

WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: "Joining us now to talk about the Clinton/Obama contest and the implications for a prolonged primary fight, two guests, Democratic strategist James Carville, who's a Clinton supporter, and Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons is an Obama supporter. Guys, thanks for coming in...

CARVILLE: You know, I don't think this campaign has been particularly negative. I've probably said the most negative thing in the whole campaign. I think this campaign is, by and large, and particularly these candidates, have sort of conducted themselves affably. But if somehow or another, Senator Obama's campaign thinks that if they get this nomination, that somehow the Hillary attack machine is something, they're crazy.

I know these guys on her Republican side. And I know Charlie Black. I know Rick Davis. They don't care what The New York Times thinks. They don't care what Keith Olbermann thinks. They don't care.

They're going to go out -- this is powder puff stuff compared to the stuff that we're going to see in the general. And as opposed to just this constant whine of how negative the Clinton campaign is and everything, better be getting ready for a whole different ball game, because these guys are not concerned about this kind of stuff.

(CROSSTALK)

BLITZER: A fair point, Jamal.

SIMMONS: Sure.

BLITZER: If Barack Obama can't take the heat from Hillary Clinton and James Carville and their allies, it's going to get a whole lot worse once -- if he gets the nomination...

CARVILLE: But I can understand -- if they -- let me -- I can take them around to right-wing world. These people don't care. They're not intimidated. And they're not interested -- and I think this campaign has by and large been relatively civil. I think it has by and large been way within the parameter of a hard-fought campaign.

What sort of concerns me, and I have said it every juncture, by the way, and Jamal knows this, that if Senator Obama is a nominee, that I would be the first in line to support him. I am just concerned, from what I see coming out of that campaign, that they're not quite aware of what they're getting ready to get hit with..."

He's black, and some whites simply won't vote for him for Prez for no other reason. Of course, when Rendell said this, he was attacked by the Obamaniacs as though he had made a false or spurious claim. (It's considered okay for people to say some Americans are uncomfortable with a woman as Prez.) By pretending to be color-blind (when really they are the most racist of all)these guilt-ridden liberals are behaving as though America is beyond racial prejudice, and Obama is being led like a lamb to the slaughter. To boot, BO has racially-tainted baggage like Wright, Afrocentrism, and black liberation theology--as well as friends associated with domestic terrorism. In the past, Dem candidates like Thomas Eagleton and Gary Hart realized they could not win with perceived character flaws hung like yokes around their necks. In fact, Bill Clinton might not have won his first term if not for Perot.
