A really nice write-up!

"Retired four-star general Wesley Clark will be the keynote speaker for the South Dakota Democratic Party’s McGovern Day event this year.

Clark, who led allied forces during the 1999 Kosovo War, also ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004. He was critical of the Iraq invasion, and he is a possible vice presidential nominee in this year’s contest.

This year’s McGovern Day event is being billed as a salute to South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson. It will be held on Saturday at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

Party Chairman Jack Billion expects it to be the most successful fundraiser in the annual event history.

“We are very fortunate to feature this former presidential candidate and former Supreme Allied Commander in the Kosovo War in our salute to Sen. Johnson’s personal and public service accomplishments,” Billion said in a release. “Gen. Clark is on the short list for consideration ad the Democratic Party’s nominee for vice president. He is also one of our nation’s most inspiring speakers on the major issue.”

Clark will speak during the evening reception and banquet, which starts at 6 p.m. Sioux Falls state Sen. Scott Heidepriem will be the keynote speaker of an 8:30 a.m. breakfast, and Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin will be the featured speaker at a 12:30 p.m. luncheon.

I sure had to dig to find the date, though. It's not even listed on the calendar at the South Dakota Democratic Party site, but the home page did give the date.
