I got an e-mail earlier in the week about a press conference, but I couldn't make because of my daughter's preschool schedule. I think, it has something to do w/a group that's organizing called Clinton Supporters Count Too. I met Jamie Dixey, one of the co-organizers in February at the Hillary organizational meeting in Cols. From Hill Buzz...
FROM GUEST-BLOGGER RICK KLEIN, OF ABC'S THE NOTE
I've posted a few times in the last two days about female supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton who are angry -- at the Democratic Party, at the Obama campaign, or at the general situation that sees their candidate facing tough times, in their view, in part because of sexism.
Just talked to a 55-year-old Columbus, Ohio resident named Cynthia Ruccia, a spokesperson and organizer for a group calling itself "Clinton Supporters Count Too." She said the group -- numbering in the hundreds, and organized in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Michigan -- stands ready to boycott the Democratic Party if Clinton doesn't win the nomination, and will work against superdelegates who support Obama over Clinton as a means of registering their displeasure with the party.
"We have a plan to campaign against the Democratic nominee," the group said in a press release Thursday. "We have the (wo)manpower and the money to make our threat real. And there are millions of supporters who will back us up in the swing states. If you don’t listen to our voice now, you will hear from us later."
Ruccia tells ABC News that she believes "millions" of women share her group's views, though they have only begun to make contact with like-minded women. They're disgusted, she said, that Democratic Party leaders haven't more aggressively denounced sexist media comments and coverage in the campaign, and are angry at the drumbeat for Clinton to get out of the race.
"We're just at the boiling point," Ruccia said. "Women will sit back and be quiet about things for a while, but we've had enough. Unless Hillary Clinton is our nominee, we are not going to support the nominee."
Part of their plan, she said, is a primary-night boycott of NBC and MSNBC during next Tuesday's primaries in Kentucky and Oregon, particularly to protest comments made by Chris Matthews and David Shuster that her group feels were sexist.
Ruccia said she doesn't necessarily view the disqualifying of delegates from Florida and Michigan as sexist in itself, but added: "I do believe the people there will not forget that Sen. Obama stood in the way of having their vote counted."
This is one group, and not a very large one at this point. But in gauging the fallout among female voters of this divisive campaign, it's also worth keeping in mind what's going on in the wake of NARAL Pro-Choice America's decision to endorse Obama on Wednesday.
As documented by the Huffington Post's Sam Stein, NARAL blogs are being overwhelmed, and many state affiliates are angry at the national group's decision.
Emily's List is furious. And Martha Burke, former chair of the National Council of Women's Organizations, tells Stein she is "disappointed": "It feels like they are abandoning a known ally for a less committed candidate because they want to jump on a bandwagon. I think the pro-choice community should stick by a woman who has stuck by them."
Dang... count me in too, gals!
I am going to e-mail Jamie right now and I'll let you know what I hear. They'll be on O'Leily tonight at 8pm.

office within my voting district. As an Ohioan, I love Ted Strickland, but if he dares to run with BO--as some have suggested--I'll vote against him from now on. He used to be my congressman, and I thought enough of him to even tolerate him having weasley Lee Fischer as his running mate. Gubenatorial candidate Fischer once spurned Bill Clinton when he came to OH to campaign, during the Monica scandal, and I don't forgive that. I voted for the now notorious Bob Taft for governor that year. I come from staunch Dems that go back at least 3 generations, but I'm a Clintonista first. And I would get angry over any female candidate being treated the way Hillary is. I'm already boycotting MSNBC, but the other night, my husband insisted I listen to the tail end of KO's rant against Bush for saying he was giving up golf in support of the troops. Ogreman was so vicious I even felt empathy for W!! I used to enjoy his anti-W screeds. Now I realize that anyone who can be that hateful to one person can be that hateful to anyone.

if he dares to run with Obama guessin he won't miss your vote;
Hold on there sweety we'll get to you in a second. - Obama before he apologized

was not my first choice for Governor. Mayor Mike Coleman of Columbus was. He was one of the first to support the General when he started running in '03.
When Clark came here to stump for Kerry, he met with Coleman for breakfast and spent part of the day with him. Then, Coleman's chances for governor sort of unraveled as his wife ran into a few problems and he ended up dropping out.
I know people that work for the state and they are NOT fans of Strickland. He has made a lot of cuts, and friends of mine say they don't appreciate his "knee jerk reactions" to things. I've been lukewarm on him, but really appreciated all he's done for Hillary and her campaign here in Ohio.

after all he has done to our country? Our troops?
I feel empathy for the people who have family trapped in this senseless, endless war all because of Dubya. I feel no empathy for a man who has ran our country into the ground and left the mess to us to clean up and blamnes it all on... Obstructionist Democrats.
It is a need to sympathize and side with the downtrodden and vilified. Said behavior appears to propel a certain number of Obama supporters in the liberal community.
I have good friends in that situation. Some are actually very smart and educated, university professors and the like, but the blinders from liberal guilt are there. Yes democrats, let's dig a deeper hole so that we can bury a third lost election.
that you are misreading your friends motives?
It is very easy to blame it all on liberal guilt or white guilt or whatever it is being called this week. But maybe, just maybe some of us at least think we have logical sound reasons for backing Sen Obama.
I was doing a lot of soul searching last night, and I came to the realization that the bitterness of the divide between Obama supporting Clarkies and Clinton supporting Clarkies is a function of passion. I haven't felt as passionate about a candidate since Gen. Clark.
Looking at the views and attitudes of Clinton supporting Clarkies, the passion for Clinton is comprable to the passion for Wes.
If there are any blinders, they are the blinders on both sides of the passionate support of their respective candidates. People do strange things when they feel passionate about something, 4 years ago, working class blue collar voters who were at the time largely going for Edwards were dubbed by many bloggers here as "the sheeple". An inconvenient truth many here who are now singing the praises of hillbillies seem to forget, not four years ago they insulted these people far more than anything Obama or his surrogates have said.
It is easy to forget that, but I have not forgotten.
"I haven't felt as passionate about a candidate since Gen. Clark...if there are any blinders, they are blinders on both sides of the passionate support of their respective candidates."
We all have to take a look at ourselves, and try to understand that our own passion can sometimes blind us from understanding the passion of others. We are all human, but we are also all Democrats. We need to try and understand and respect each other, and try to heal some of the hard feelings for which both sides (myself included) bear some responsibility. I think that is what General Clark would want us to be doing right now.
I stand with Hillary, Barrack, and Wes.

For most Hillary supporters I know, we don't get all the hoopla surrounding Obama. He's a complete unknown with questionable motives in our eyes.
This has nothing to do with blind passion for Hillary. In fact, we know she has flaws. A lot of us disagreed with her IWR vote. We are not blind to any that. But, when we compare her accomplishments with Obama's... there's no question who we feel is the more qualified candidate. Apparently Wes Clark feels the same way.
Where's the "change" with the less qualified man getting a job over a more qualified female? That's not change at all.
Wes Clark Democrats...let the Clinton campaign know who sent you

I wish I could take credit for that line... I saw it somewhere on the blogosphere months ago and can't remember where! It really does ring true.
Wes Clark Democrats...let the Clinton campaign know who sent you
I just said passion, and I made that reference as a comparison to 04. People were passionate about Gen. Clark. Heck, I was passionate about putting Gen. Clark in the White House. There is nothing wrong with being passionate about something, it is not a crime or an indictment of someone's judgment that they care about something enough to be passionate.
My point was not that Clintonista's are blindly passionate and have no intellectual reasons for their support of Sen. Clinton; the fact is they do have many intellectual reasons for their position. Clinton knows a great deal about Washington works. However, Clinton supporters here and in many places point at Obama supporters and declare them to be blindly worshiping a cult of personality.
The suggestion is that Obama supporters are voting for Sen. Obama because:
A. They are a bunch of young, starry eyed idealists who don't know what they are talking about.
B. Because they suffer from liberal guilt (see above)
C. Because they suffer from white guilt
D. They are African American and are voting for Obama on racial grounds.
E. Because the media tells them to and they are too stupid and sheepish to think for themselves. (return of sheeple references from 04 anyone?)
F. Because Dean, Kennedy, Kerry and other "blue bloods" tell them to.
G. Because they are Republicans and Rush Limbaugh told them to.
H. This is the last, and my personal favorite I might add. That Obama has used crowd control and charisma to hoodwink 16 million plus Americans into voting for him.
We Obama supporters in the estimation of many Clintonistas here are apparently too blind, dumb and deaf to know Obama is:
A. A crook/criminal.
B. A religious zealot.
C. George Bush redux
D. A Black power candidate
E. A sexist pig
F. A moron who is incapable of running the country
G. The darling of Republicans
As to qualifications and experience, I'm not even going to try to get into that debate as I will but certainly be troll rate for promoting Obama.
What I will say however is basically this came down to a simple choice. Were credentials alone enough, or was somewhere along the line judgment an issue.
Sen. Clinton clearly has more experience in Washington, some think that is a good thing, others do not. There are things to like about the Clinton legacy, a balanced budget, reduced debt, strong growing economy, Kosovo. And there are things not to like, Somolia, Rwanda, Iraq liberation act, NAFTA, and the fact that we didn't make a big push on fuel efficency, Bill Clinton was just as guilty as Dubya on that. Reason being he didn't want to piss off Michigan. Fleet fuel efficency averages actually dropped during the 90s.
So when Clinton runs on her husband's record in the 90s and her part in it, and her lackluster performence in the Senate supporting the war, supporting Kyl/Lieberman, maybe not all of us are going to come to the same conclusion. And it says nothing about intelligence, it's just a different view of the same event.

You said blinders, you said passion. I guess somehow I came up with blind passion.
Choice F looks good to me, but I don't think Obama's a moron. I just don't think he's qualified to be POTUS.
Oh... and :sigh: here we go again trashing Bill Clinton's presidency like it wasn't all THAT great. Boy that drumbeat is getting tired.
Wes Clark Democrats...let the Clinton campaign know who sent you
look, Bill did some great things as president. But on balance I would say Bill Clinton was a fairly average president. Even Wes pointed out that in the 90s we did not set any guiding strategic principles comparable to deterrence and containment. That was a fundamental error.
We got used to dollar a gallon gasoline and 15$ a barrel oil and we didn't worry about the possibility that things might go wrong and we might be paying $127 a barrel and 4$ a gallon at the pump.
We bought cheap junk from China, maxed out credit cards, bought gas guzzling SUVs and partied like there was no tomorrow. That was the legacy of the 90s, we just didn't think ahead, we thought after winning the cold war we didn't have anything to worry about anymore, and Bill Clinton did not say or do anything to lead Americans to beleive that someday the party might end.
It was foolish and naive. Sure Clinton's Presidency was a great time, we reaped the benefits of expanding global markets and a new geo strategic order and Bill Clinton happened to be the lucky guy who got to be in the big chair when we reaped the windfall of 4 decades of hard work to combat and contain communism. What President Clinton didn't bank on was that the Saudi's might start to run dry in the next decade. Or that we might be attacked on our own soil. Or that the dot com bubble might actually burst.
The 90s were a great time to be alive, but the 90s will be viewed by history I think as the calm before the storm. The 1990s and the 1920s have a lot in common.
You ignore the fact that deficits were coming under control. w and his dead-eye dick buddy said deficits don't matter and brought on the present economy. There is also the fact this admin and the GOP represent the interests of the oil businesses.
The Clinton admin had come under tremendous pressure from the right and the left for the actions in the former Yugoslavia. Clinton was also successful in countering terrorism in the US and was on the hunt for Bin Laden. He was actually accused of reckless use of our supposed dwindling supply of cruise missiles in that effort. There seemed to be enough left for "shock and awe" a short time later.
There were plans for expanding alternative energy but those withered with the failed campaign of Gore. The last president to use the bully pulpit to scold Americans for there energy misuse was Carter. We saw the political price he paid. Even Democrats denounced him for asking Americans to sacrifice.
What changes to this state does BO offer?

I wonder if that's how Criss Angel does it?
Wes Clark Democrats...let the Clinton campaign know who sent you
however feel empathy EVEN for W, whom I despise, because of the ferocious level of KO's attack--the same type of attack that he directs at Hillary for no other reason than she's running against Obama. Because I agree with Hillary and support her, I feel like the viciousness of the pro-BO punditry is directed at me as well.

Bush approval remains near record low
PRINCETON, NJ -- Approval of Congress has dipped below 20% for only the fourth time in the 34 years Gallup has asked Americans to rate the job Congress is doing. Today's 18% score, based on a May 8-11 Gallup Poll, matches the record lows Gallup recorded in August 2007 and March 1992.

every American is silently asking themselves right now. But PA is right, the only reason Dubya still has any power is because other politicians let him have it, and the American people let him have it because back then the economy wasn't quite so shabby, and John Kerry let him have power by not fighting for the people of Ohio.

Wes Clark could still secure America as a national security candidate.
he would have immediately apologized and then graciously answered the woman's question. This looks horribly condescending when you see it on replay.

the reporter was asking him what he would do in MI was it to stop the closing of the factory where the workers are supporting Obama;
well do you think he should answer that question 1) he is not the president, the governor , nor their Senator or Congressman;
first he has to have the power to do something directly and if he is conducting talks back channel he wouldn't be telling the reporter who was looking for a gottcha sound clip to slap him with;
that is why I didn't understand the popularity of Hillary's gas holiday for three months this summer exactly by what authority can she give everybody in US a gas holiday this summer she is one Senator from NY.
similar situations what we hear see from the Corporate media is all political theater; the purpose of the visit was to be with the workers to forge an alliance for when he does have the power to do something to help them/ theri union? the city and state;
reporters are representing the constitutional faction that should support demcracy with correction information and facts so citizens can make well informed decisions about the government and those governing them and when has that been a reality;

The Obama camp fired back defending Michelle Obama:
This is a shameful attempt to attack a woman who has repeatedly said she wouldn't be here without the opportunities and blessings of this nation. The Republican Party's pathetic attempts to use the same smear tactics to win elections have failed in Mississippi, failed in Louisiana, and will fail in November because the American people are looking for a positive vision of real change. And if the Tennessee Republican Party has a problem with Senator Obama, maybe next time they'll have the courage to address him directly instead of attacking his family.
Tennessee Press Release:
NASHVILLE, TN - The Tennessee Republican Party welcomes Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Obama, to Nashville today, where she's the guest of honor at a Tennessee Democratic Party fundraiser.
To welcome Mrs. Obama to Nashville and Tennessee, we asked a few Tennesseans to take a few moments to tell her what makes them proud of their country. Viewers will find their statements stand in stark contrast to two incidents in February when Mrs. Obama announced that for "the first time in my adult life" she was proud of America.
And while Mrs. Obama has trouble being proud of the country where she earned degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School and then became a multi-millionaire, her husband makes statements that belittle average Americans' response to the difficulties of life, including his recent statement that, in tough times, "it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
The Tennessee Republican Party has always been proud of America. To further honor the occasion of Mrs. Obama's visit, the Tennessee Republican Party has requested the playing of patriotic music by radio stations across the state.

Dear XXXXXXXX [ today email reply to recent message to her office ]
Thank you for writing to me regarding relations between the United States and Iran . I appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns on this issue, which is extremely important to me.
On December 3, 2007, the U.S. intelligence community released a National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran , which concluded that Iran had halted its nuclear weapons development program in 2003. The conclusion of this NIE dramatically contradicts the Bush Administration's aggressive statements and actions regarding Iran .
As you may know, on October 17, 2007, President Bush alarmed the American people and the world by stating that if World War III was to be avoided, Iran must be prevented from having the knowledge to create a nuclear weapon. These ominous comments only obscure the fact that the Administration's bellicose rhetoric on Iran is not supported by the consensus view of the 16 intelligence agencies that authored the NIE.
On November 1, 2007, I joined with 29 of my Senate colleagues in writing to President Bush to voice our opinion that the recent comments made by the Bush Administration regarding Iran are counterproductive and undermine efforts to resolve tensions with Iran through diplomacy. We also emphasized our belief that offensive military action should not be taken against Iran without the express consent of Congress.
In light of the revelations made by the recent NIE, I believe that Congress must be diligent in preventing the Bush Administration from misleading the public and leading the nation to war on false pretenses - the type of actions that led to the current Iraq war. However, we must not be complacent about the very real security challenge that Iran poses to the United States . Iran continues to defy the United Nations Security Council by refusing to suspend its activities related to uranium enrichment. And in November 2007, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that its knowledge about Iran 's current nuclear program is actually diminishing.
Please be assured that I will continue working to ensure that the United States and the international community continue to pursue diplomatic solutions as the best way of resolving disagreements with Iran .
Thank you again for contacting me regarding this important issue.

I now have it from two sources close to senior Republicans that they have video dynamite–Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” at Jeremiah Wright’s church. Republicans may have a lousy record when it comes to the economy and the management of the war in Iraq, but they are hell on wheels when it comes to opposition research. Someone took the chance and started reviewing the recordings from services at Jeremiah Wright’s United Church of Christ. Holy smoke!! I am told there is a clip that is being held for the fall to drop at the appropriate time. The last thing Barack and Michelle need is a new clip that raises further questions about her judgment and temperament. Here’s what the Republicans are currently using in Tennessee:

of the iceberg. They have so much on him, it's not even funny. And how many times can he claim "I wasn't aware of..." or "I don't remember meeting him..." If superd's give him the nomination, if they aren't aware of what's coming -- I dunno. I can't say they deserve to lose, because it's all of us who will lose. :(
It's just unbelievable that Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi, Dean and the rest of the Dem elite didn't do their homework on the guy before shoving him to the forefront to run for president, especially when he has practically zero experience to fall back on. Just baffling, really. Their hatred of the Clintons is so intense, they are willing throw the party and the country in the garbage all for the chance it will bury the Clintons once and for all. I guess it didn't occur to them they're going to bury us all in the process...
I will continue sending light and letters to the superd's and hope their eyes open up right quick.

dKos diary: Wexler then said something that no democrat has mentioned yet. He said that if Mukasey doesn't enforce a contempt of congress citation, that congress would hold Rove in inherent contempt.
If held in inherent contempt, congress would order the house sergeant-at-arms to arrest Rove, and hold him in the capital basement. Congress would conduct something similar to a trial, and force Rove to testify. This method was often used in the 19th century.
You want to know why republicans lost a house seat in a district in which Bush got 62% of the vote? You want to know why people are leaving the republican party in droves? You want to know why we are looking at the possibility of 60 senate seats? Rove's criminality is one good reason why. Another good reason would be Bush's recent claim that he is giving up golf to 'sacrifice' for the troops in Iraq.

Dear Jen,
Just moments ago, by a near-unanimous vote, the Senate stood up to Big Media. They voted to throw out the FCC decision to let the largest media companies swallow up even more local media.
.
This is simply an astounding victory, and it would not have happened without the massive grassroots effort by you and thousands of others who called their senators, sent more than a quarter million letters, posted thousands of pictures and stories on StopBigMedia.com, and testified at public hearings held by the FCC.
.
It was your dedication that made today's Senate win possible.
.
Today was a huge step forward, but there is still much to do. The fight against the FCC now moves to the House, where our elected representatives need to hear from us.
.
President Bush has promised that he will try to veto this bill. But tonight the Senate and the American people have spoken with one voice. This historic vote sends a clear message that the only people who support more media consolidation are Big Media lobbyists and the White House.
.
We are in this struggle to bring more minority ownership, diverse perspectives and independent voices to the media. We need to make media consolidation an election-year issue. And we need to start talking about how to break up the giant conglomerates.
.
Corporate news today -- with its propaganda pundits, horse-race election coverage, and celebrity gossip -- undermines our democracy. We must continue to speak out and demand that the public airwaves be used to actually serve the public. In just three weeks, thousands of people will be gathering together in Minnesota to build the movement for better media. You can join them at the National Conference for Media Reform, just visit www.freepress.net/conference.
.
For today, know that you played a key role in the fight for better media for all.Thank you,

Just watched a few others from that series.... it made me a little sad - in a nostalgic way. Knowing what has been done to these two people to tarnish them. I don't know if their entire legacy is destroyed but I wouldn't be surprised. The campaign to dirty them up has been so ruthless and relentless.
He does a great job in Oregon for Hillary and the crowd seemed to respond well too- worth watching. When Bill Clinton talks....he simply talks TO people, not at them. He doesn't pontificate or preach or shout repeated slogans for masses to echo back to him. He's brilliant but there's a simplicity to his speaking style that's easy on the listener. He goes directly to the personal without having to pump himself up larger than the proscenium.
Oh, I'm gonna get all Wahhhh before this thing is over - I can just feel it. :(
We do not deserve a president McCain - and I fear it's what we are going to be stuck with.
It's so unfair to the American people, and to the Democrats who've been working so hard all these years to oust these people from the seat of power. To mothers of kids who will be fighting these wars for God knows how many years... Giving till there's no more to give. And all because of some ethereal "movement" that makes people feel good... we are going to be thrust into four more endless years I'm afraid.
Why can't people just go see a shrink, hug their spouse, or take a hike to feel good? Why do they need a presidential campaign for THAT?

YouTube -- Clinton supporters threaten boycott.
I was the first to warn this was coming. Clinton supporters are ticked. Yesterday, NARAL made it worse.
There is something else that I've been thinking about for quite a while, which came into the forefront with the Edwards endorsement. Immediately upon this event people started talking about Edwards as a vice presidential choice. Talking heads on cable began their projectile analysis that we were now witnessing the political Butch - Sundance team that would lead the working class voters to Democrats and the Party to victory in November.
There's only one problem.
It's huge.
No, gigantic, in fact.
What would an Edwards vice presidency say to all of Hillary's millions and millions of women? I won't print the answer on this blog, but it begins with "f" and ends with you.
Oh, and for the record, Claire McCaskill, Kathleen Sebelius nor Janet Napolitano will do. Ask a Clinton supporter ready to cast a protest vote for McCain. She'll tell you.
As I've said many times recently, I will work hard to defeat John McCain if Obama is the nominee. If Clinton pulls it out, I will work tirelessly for her. I hope everyone is clear about the distinction. The ideals and principles of the Democratic Party mean too much to me, even if the Party elite are acting like thugs.
However, make no mistake about it, the Democratic Party has sent a signal to women that Hillary's candidacy isn't historic. They're nonchalance over her fight about Michigan and Florida, as well as the undemocratic nature of caucuses, not to mention their breezy attitude about pushing her out before this race is through has wounded a lot of people. Ted Kennedy took his fight to the floor with far less of a case than Hillary Clinton has today, yet she's being screamed at to get out. The Democratic elite seem to be saying that the little women got their play in the political pond, but let's get serious, shall we? With the proclamation that Obama was the "presumptive nominee" ready to declare "victory" on May 20th, the women of the Democratic Party were once again proclaimed invisible and expected to fall in line for The One.
Try winning in November without them.
But taking this further, what does this Butch - Sundance storyline say about the traditional media and the Obamabot world, which obviously doesn't get that if Clinton and her female supporters are not respected, they have the power and could stand up and walk out on the Democratic Party to send a message that will reverberate for months and years to come. That message will result in a McCain presidency.
For anyone who doubts this could happen please start reading the comment sections on the Hillary Clinton blogs. Some are over the top, but most people are coming from thoughtful political perspectives from activists who are very serious about what's now unfolding in the Democratic Party. These Clinton supporters who are threatening a protest vote for John McCain are large in number, many of whom are regulars on this blog and in the comment section, with hundreds of emails from lurkers to me every day saying they will not vote for Obama if he's the nominee. The disrespect for Hillary Clinton has been too wide and too deep in the Democratic Party, and they're not going to support it anymore.
Regardless of the outcome of the nomination battle I will continue to honor my reader's choices and welcome them here, respecting the battle they've waged for Clinton, what they've sacrificed, as well as the heart they've given to elect the first female president in U.S. history. I will also make sure they have a voice on this blog, because they've earned respect from me, as we've fought together to get Hillary nominated, and by God I will honor that relationship and shared call. I will do so because no voting block in my lifetime has been so utterly disrespected, vilified unjustly with accusations of racism, and basically had to endure endless harangues, while the Democratic Party and so called "progressive" coalition has shown more disrespect to women supporting Clinton than the Republican Party, treating Clinton supporters as second class citizens, especially if you happen to be named Hillary Clinton.
Memo to the Democratic leadership elite: Consider yourselves on notice. Hell hath no fury. Believe it.
Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right.
This article makes it seem like they are irrelevant. One of Hillary's strongest bases of support is white blue-collar, working class males, right?
How can that be sexist?

organizing and speaking out right now are women. But, I'm sure there's a fair share of pissed of men too.

I greatly respect Senator Clinton for her tenacity, dedication to Democratic values, and fighting spirit. I especially have gained new respect for her the past week, as she continues determined to see the race through to the end. She is a tribute to her supporters, Democrats, and women everywhere. It's long past time American had a woman President, and I will certainly support her strongly if she is the nominee. The alternative to a Democrat in the White House is unthinkable.
Staying in the race is not just the right thing for America and especially the voters in the remaining five contests, it's also the right thing to do because the nomination has not been decided yet.
Senator Clinton makes me proud to be a Democrat because of her commitment to what she believes in. I'm also impressed with Chelsea and her fighting spirit. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

Your very own concentration camps
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/larisa-alexandrovna/all-the-presidents-nazis_b_102022.html
EXCERPTYou ordered the creation of secret camps all over the world and on US territory where you also authorized the torture of countless men, women and children is a violation of the Geneva Conventions, international law, and domestic law. In other words, you authorized war crimes. We don't know the number of people you have had disappeared, tortured, and possibly murdered. Although we have some idea of what these numbers may be, I doubt the full truth of it all will ever be known. In 2005, I had a CENTCOM document leaked to me illustrating that since the start of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, more than 70,000 men, women, and children have been detained at one of your various camps Mr. Bush. We don't know what happened to them, if they were tortured, raped, or murdered. What we do know is that less than 2% of those 70,000 had any sort of charge brought against them in a court of law. None of those alleged crimes, by the way, were acts of terrorism. We don't know if that 70,000 figure was the actual and full count of detainees in US custody around the world in 2005. But it is safe to say that in the last 3 years since this document was published, the number of detainees has likely grown. What we also now know, in great horror, is that at least one of your camps had a crematorium in it, which some of the US soldiers stationed there suspected was used for burning bodies:
"We had some kind of incinerator at the end of our building," Specialist Megan Ambuhl said. "It was this huge circular thing. We just didn't know what was incinerated in there. It could have been people, for all we knew--bodies." Sergeant Davis was not in doubt. "It had bones in it," he said, and he called it the crematorium. "But hey, you're at war," he said. "Suck it up or drive on."

:shudder:
That's astounding. Thanks for posting that.

In an email from Hillary Clinton to supporters:
"I'm also in this race because I have the best chance of beating John McCain in November and putting America on the right track."
"We proved something in West Virginia last night -- a state every Democratic president has won since 1916. And we proved something in a few other battleground states that have a history of picking presidents. Pennsylvania. Ohio. Arkansas. New Hampshire. New Jersey. New Mexico. Nevada. And, yes, Michigan and Florida."
