To the DNC - Re: Florida and Michigan – “Don’t be fools for the rules.”

Barack Obama | DNC | Florida | Hillary Clinton | Michigan | Democratic politics

True Democrats do not disenfranchise other Democrats. Please behave like the true Democrats you know you are, and seat the duly elected MI and FL delegates. What if Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King had agreed to follow rules because rules are rules? Don't be fools for the rules. Be true Democrats, and make some rules that make sense.
That’s the comment I just sent to the Democratic National Committee by way of Hillary Clinton’s website. Please send them your comments, and consider sharing what you have said to them here, so that others might be encouraged to write them also.
Millions of people in Florida and Michigan went to the polls to make their voices heard in the Democratic Presidential primary. They deserve to have their votes count.
The DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting on May 31 to make a decision about Florida and Michigan. Send a message to the DNC telling them to count the votes and seat Florida and Michigan's delegates.
Here's a related question for the DNC: Why Nominate Someone Who Has Less Than Half the Party Supporting Them? Due to the recent Democratic win of a Mississippi by-election, the new "Magic Number" representing half of the party should be 2210 - not 2209 as stated; but the concept remains the same. That is, even if the DNC are fools for their arbitrarily applied rules, and they stubbornly refuse to seat FL and MI before choosing a Presidential nominee, they ought to at least require that whomever that is has secured at least 2210 votes. Otherwise, the Democratic Party would be in the absurd position of nominating someone who didn't have the support of even half the party.
UPDATE: Please watch this video. At least one small media group is paying attention to some other Democratic Party rules that don't appear to be democratic at all. They greatly increase the influence of caucus participants in comparison to voters in primary states. Unfortunately these rules (like the disenfranchisement of MI and FL voters) have also worked to Obama's advantage.

example. We cannot let those partisan to one candidate and/or those stubborn enough to arbitrarily apply bad rules to disenfranchise a single Democrat. That violates the principle credo of our party, which must always be "One person, one vote." Otherwise, we have no business calling ourselves Democrats, or, for that matter, democrats.
Thanks for sharing what you've been telling them. I hope others will also share their messages to the party here.

Wes Clark could still secure America as a national security candidate.

by Bluemoon on GD thread fits here perfectly.
McLaughlin Group -- Barack is Weak
They get it. Well, except for the blond woman and black guy on the panel.
Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Excellent addition. The two who didn't get it appeared to be supporting Obama.

has always been for O!, but not so blatantly as last night on McL. Eleanor Clift was always a Deanie, so not surprising she's also an O! girl.
Watching that video reminded me of why I can't stand that show!!! Makes my skin itch, face cramp, ugghhhhhhhsssshhhh! But it was nice to see old Rhino McL. be contrary in a good way.

fund appeals "Not one thin dime until we're assured the Michigan and Florida delegates will be seated at the Convention with full voting rights!"
