Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right.

the netroots being the compass...or keel of a ship (I think that's what he said, but the volume was wonky for me too)... that both sides of the political fence read what bloggers say. And that what we say can be funny or satire, but it's serious too and there's a responsibility there.

I can't always capture quotes, so these are by no means exact, but here is what we both were typing at DU:

Now he is asking all those in the Netroots Nation audiance who are running for office this year to stand up and be acknowledged, and he salutes them.

...and now the public defence lawyers, and the police and the fire fighters, and now the community organizers in the room, will you stand up and be acknowledged. And now I want to ackknowledge the veterans and the active military, stand up please....

Finally about the netroots activists and bloggers:

I really never listened to him (an indication how much I follow politics) but he is a great speaker.
