Someone who can shift positions so quickly on so many important issues that will face the next President comes off as a man who doesn’t have fixed convictions. Pragmatism has to be guided by principles. A man who believes in everything believes in nothing, and that’s a formula for chaos in the White House.

Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right.
What his campaign was all about:
Someone who can shift positions so quickly on so many important issues that will face the next President comes off as a man who doesn’t have fixed convictions
Too bad his supporters were/are under the illusion that CHANGE meant something else
Speaking of which, I doubt that the following song would be appropriate for the Obama campaign (even though I now hear he is a fan of Swing Out Sister):

Money quote....
One of his campaign advisers told me recently: "Why should we take the time for foreign media, since there is Obamania around the world?"
Hubris, thy name is Obama
Why have Obama and the New Democratic Party chose to rehabilitate the Republican Party at a time when it and conservatism has proven to be such a failure? Answer: "Because that's where the money is."

sounds more and more like w every day. I thought he said he was going to restore our standing in the world. Not a good beginning, imo.

I'm going to vote by mail. Where I live, it's the only way to have a paper trail.
