Is It Possible Obama Is Intimidated By Clark?

I was just sitting here and thinking, and this thought popped into my head.
I am posting is as a new blog entry because I have not seen this addressed anywhere in the blogosphere. What do you think?

He's just plain arrogant. He has no interest in anything Wes has to say. You have to respect someone to be intimidated by them.

We learn. We change. That's progress. If we don't do that, well, we're GWB.

That arrogance is gonna cost Obama, and the future of this country.

But otoh, I've met a lot of arrogant people (especially men -- testosterone seems to be a factor) who are extremely insecure inside. Being around someone whose confidence is based on real ability and accomplishment makes them act more arrogant because it feeds the insecurity. One reason Bush surrounds himself with incompetent sycophants imo.

Ok, so enough arm-chair psychology for one morning, eh? ;)

You don't have respect someone to be intimidated. They have to have power over you to be intimidated. So on that you are correct, Wes doesn't have power over O. On the other hand, O's team has shown they are capable of retaliating against those who aren't lockstep with them. I'd say they are the ones that know how to intimidate. Wes isn't one to be intimidated.

Wes is nobody's fool. He prolly knows enough about Obama that it makes Obama itchy.

Check this out. I admit I don't know who Stanley Kurtz is -- prolly a wingnut or something, but he's being blocked from accessing information re: Obama and Ayers.

the question/point:

How incredibly afraid of him 'they' are, 'they' including not only rover and the criminal gang, but all the dems! Can't beat human nature, I guess, but I'd surely like to.

I think that misses the point altogether. Obama is no different from most Democrats. All I hear from the Dems is how honorable a person and how great a patriot John McCain is. Look at the people on the so-called "short list" for VP. Other than Biden, and I have questions about him, who has the courage to go out and take the fight to McCain.

Obama is not intimidated by Clark, nor is he arrogant. He's like most Democrats. He won't take the fight to the opponent, even when Obama is falsely attacked. John Kerry did the same thing in 2004 with the Swift Boat stuff. Instead of fighting back, he whined that George Bush needed to get the Swiftboaters to stop. That's the message I got from his campaign. When he made some effort to counter the message, it was too late.

It's the Democratic way. Fighters like Clark and Webb are thrown out of the political equation.

They are actually quite similar. Both are confident and engaging (and have lovely soft hands!).
I hope they are on the same ticket.

OBAMA/CLARK !!

I'm waiting for my text message from Barack! Wes for VP!
