You don't get your ballot till a bit later, but time is short.
To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:
1. be 65 years or older;
2. be disabled;
3. be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
4. be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
It applies to service men and women who are stationed outside of Texas (and will not be in-state on election day).

Any other states? What are early voting situations in other states and when do they begin? Can we start using this blog as a repository for info?
