Clark: 'Justice will be done'
Feb. 6: Retired General Wesley Clark says that while the Obama administration has dropped charges against a USS Cole bombing suspect, he expects there will be other trials and charges.

Gen. Clark emphasized the need of having a transparent justice system that the world can see which Guantanamo was not.  In my opinion, he did an excellent job of credibly answering Neocon critics in this interview!

for this, Mitch.

Yes, I agree. General Wes did do a great job of explaining this. I wish the families involved could have heard him and taken a step back to really think about what Wes said. And how much better Wes' approach to this is. Perhaps they did. As it is, tho....I think they are only left with the screaming meemees and their black and white scenario. Whatever creates the most vitriol these days, it seems.

Unfortunately even those interviewing Wes could not step back and take a look at the big picture and what is the right thing to do according to our American values. Too many times there is a predetermined place the pin heads want to go in these interviews. The next clip, the next predetermined question. Interrupted with "uh-huhs and yeahs" and ya wonder if they even heard what was said. I noticed this on the Morning Joe interview the other day too. I could see Wes' eyes darting back and forth like he had so much to say and couldn't get it in between the "uh-huh's and yeahs and mmmmm's" and interruptions. I wonder what was going on behind those eyes. What he was thinking. I sure would have liked to have known. :)

If people would just be quiet and listen....their next question may produce something THEY don't even know. And they might actually learn something. We definitely have a listening problem. ;)

Needlesstosay....these past few appearances by Wes have been wonderful. It's been great to see him out there again. He is a compass for me. A guide. And for that I'm forever greatful to him.

I haven't watched the talking pin heads on cable for quite some time. Only when Wes is on. Perhaps that is why they are a shock to my system! lol

Always appreciate what you do here, Mitch.

I remember an interview with tennis pro Bob Lutz after one of his matches, which Lutz had lost. The idiot with the microphone asked Lutz about the match. Lutz said, "Well, I think I could have served better and returned serve better." The interviewer then asked, "What do you think you could have done better in the match?" Lutz gave the guy a double-take and a few blinks and repeated his answer, word for word.
