The Frickin' Generals Just Woke Up to "There might be a civil war in Iraq"?

Where the hell have they been? Doesn't that just boost your confidence that they know what they are doing? Right......

When you ask that "you get somebody that knows what they are doing?" I get the impression you don't live in the USA. If that is so, then it explains a lot about your rants here. Where are you blogging from in the world? We have quite the world community writing here.

They did some really fancy footwork yesterday in admitting as much as they did. It's not pretty when the Pentagon's public story finally collides with the reality on the ground.

For those Generals to sit there with Rummy and admit what they did is an indication that they chose their words carefully.

If I am correct, I heard the report the evening before on BBC evening report with Dalgit Dhaliwal. I definitely heard it on the 5 am BBC World report that morning; that the Brit Ambassador's papers projecting civil war had been leaked to the press - so the Generals report later was damage control

long time! CIVIL WAR: (webster) war between geographical sections or political factions of the same nation.

That's true. I heard it the day before on both the BBC World (TV) and the BBC Worldservice.

Wes Clark Teaches Barnstorming 101 in Texas

would fact check my memory - but isn't one of the ground rules - 'principles' of disinformation to talk about something  that will/may  happen  when it is already happening

when it is already happening.... playing with the timeline

on of the ways I began to re-learn history and go beyond myth and cultural 'legends' is to refer to real timelines...

I found that history is re-written often a paid funded profession of pundits by the status quo  ... kind of making something an official story ( by manipulated re-write of history /pr)

and what you are seeing is the status quo big media is mostly owned/closely associated by the defense industries one way or other ... once again fact check  - so they are re-writing history ( some people call it censoring the news ) in front of your eyes..

it seems to me that often CONGRESSIONAL hearing are giving opportunity to one faction of government to re-write official history in front of your eyes... they create an offical record and then call it fact when they are lying thru their teeth ...

creating offical records... often re-writing history... one of the best examples of people fighting the entrenched powers that do that is Congressman Henry Waxman .... his staff and now Congressman John Conyers.....

To learn from our mistakes, correct them and have the sregnth and fortituide to admit when we have made a mistake,,,instead of putting more energy into defending a mistake.
