Hi All -

When we last left off,  we were trying to raise a few bucks for Jim Webb, and trying to get as many people as possible to his event in San Francisco at the Marines Memorial Club Wednesday August 9.

I said I'd provide a progress report, and here's where we are:

Minimum Goal: $3,000
As of Now: $2,100

So far the Clark community has come through nicely, as this has mostly come through small donations. Not bad considering this is not a WKC-attended event.

Our co-sponsors are very happy (one of whom is a conservative Republican Naval Academy classmate of Jim's who is sick of George Bush and the direction the regime has taken us...)  Plus our donations right now outstrip our attendees, meaning we'll be able to get more people to the event.

Thanks much to all of you who have already helped out!

But we still have a bit more to go...

Please, anything you can add, $10, $20, $50, we'll take it..every dime is another line on the spreadsheet, and it looks very good for General Clark right now...

Not to mention how it helps Jim.
