And so "THE MATERIAL GIRL" fails, once again to appreciate "When in another man's house, live by another man's rules." Madonna's latest stunt in Rome, is nothing more than a promotional with which to get this 47 year old woman's name in the media. I think it puts a bad face on America's values, and it is a darn shame! Than again at 47, doesn't "Like a Virgin" seem a bit ironic, especially since Madonna specialty is pushing her sexuality?
The whole cross thing. I think it's funny. Then again, I'm usualy pretty supportive of anything within reason that makes the Catholic church angry. Seriously, don't we all have better things to worry about than Madonna's stage theatrics and Mel Gibsons drunken rants. We are far too obsessed with tabloid news. If people don't like her show, don't buy a ticket. It's that simple.
Slightly off-topic. Still looking like that at 47, she has the right to promote her sexuality.

And people whom only see the negative should stay home, and play with their sock puppets! Perhaps you don't realize, but when I enter my text, I can not see what I have typed. Someone thought it would be funny to generate a blank response, also. I have reported it numerous times to no avail. In any case why do you even bother? Maybe you and Sybil should sit down and have a Klondike bar together and share rag stories? Maybe you already have, humm.. together...?? The implementation of this new blog for me is much worse than the old one. I think it is you whom is looking for attention. I am merely pointing out that 112 Ambassadors and Colin Powell objected adimately to John Bolton's nomination, and do to the impending war, it is wrong how John Bolton got in that seat in the first place!
and the rest of the world thinks we have no values, but MONEY. And this is a money stunt by Madonna..with total disresepect to a religon. Remember Rushdie?
Then we are screwed anyway. Unfortunately, our primary value these days IS money. Until we take the money out of politics, and start taking America back from corporate ownership, then the rest of the world is correct in assuming that money is the God we worship first.

The think we think and do buy and sell anything. Our mothers children, wives etc.. and everything is about money. I hope somehow we can figure out how to save face, and tell them that some things in our lives are priceless. That is to say some of us put our principles in front of our pocketbooks. Like these kids risking their lives in Iraq, or so many civic minded Americans.
