My letter::

Dear C-Span,

General Wesley Clark will be speaking at Bethany College, WV on 9/11 tomorrow night ::

Wes Clark has been the most credible authority on national security and foreign policy issues, particularly on the "war of terror" for the Democratic Party.  As our nation deals with the global security crisis that are a direct result of the policy failures of the Bush Administration, I believe that C-Span must cover this important speech to provide fair and accurate perspective towards the serious issues that our country faces on a whole, today.

Personally, I equate this speech, as historically significant as Clark's "Real State of the Union Address" speech earlier in the year for New American Foundation with host Steve Clemons.

I urge C-Span to provide coverage of this important event, especially since President Bush has, not coincidentally, chosen to deliver his prime time speech during the ABC's airing of Walt Disney's controversial production, "The Path to 9/11" , a fictionalised version of the events surrounding 9/11 that blames the Clinton Administration for the attacks leading up on 9/11.

9/11/06 - General Clark will speak at Bethany College in remembrance of September 11th Start: Sep 11 2006 - 6:00pm description:

BETHANY, W.Va. – Retired General Wesley K. Clark will be visiting the Bethany campus on Monday, September 11, 2006. His speech will take place at 6 p.m. EDT in Commencement Hall. Located in Old Main, Commencement Hall has served as host to numerous other prominent world figures including four U.S. Presidents.

The Bethany College Student Activities Council (SAC), Student Programming Board (SPB) and Student Government Association (SGA) are sponsoring his visit as a remembrance of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

General Clark will speak on the successes and failures of the United States in recent international conflicts, the world terror scope, and U.S. security in the new millennium.
