I sure hope Clark will be informed of the new Moyers series...

Moyers On America is a new series on PBS (1st episode aired tonight) by
Bill Moyers.

Tonight was a very powerful episode that chronicled
the Abramoff, Delay, etc. scandal and more - what K Street has become.

The first hour was basically a documentary; the second was an excellent
discussion of the extraordinary new degree of corruption
that is now occurring and what needs to be done about it.

Oh, I so very much hope that Clark has either watched this
or gets the chance to see the streaming video of the
program offered on the page linked to above - very, very
powerful.

I'm so glad Moyers is *back*. He knows we still need him, perhaps now more then ever.

The whole time I was watching Moyers, and especially while the panel of authors, Norman Ornstein and Thomas Frank, were talking with Moyers, I was wishing that Wes would meet with Moyers and have a chat.

The discussion about how corrupt Congress is, and has been for the last 20+years, comparing America to the "gilded age" was so right on, and very depressing. They think it will be a very long time before we come out of this new gilded age of corruption... I wonder if ever in my lifetime.
