This excerpt simply made me giggle.:
At one point, the group of 700 senior citizens with canes and gray hair drowned out Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey with boos as she tried to criticize Democratic candidate Deval Patrick on taxes.
Healey is not so popular with retirees after she called those that live in their own homes (rather than in nursing homes or assisted living facilities)) "Overhoused" last March.

In MA we do not get the friendly "New England Republicans" any more. We get these nuts like Romney, Healey, Martinez, Hillman, etc. I do have to give Senator Brown a nod for yesterday however. He, one of the few Repulcicans in the legislature, came to our Deval rally to handle the Healey crowd that was trying to force itsway in to our press conference. In general however these are not the Snowes, Rudmans, or Chaffees. They are wing nuts and must be stopped.
Tell my retired mother, who lives in the home I grew up in, that had to work two and even sometimes three jobs when I was growing up just to make ends meet that she is now overhoused and doesn't deserve her teacher's pension after teaching over 40 years (during which time she was not eligible for Social Security or FICA as a state employee and is totally dependent up on her pension and GIC insurance). That is the type of craziness coming out of the Romney/Healey regime. They are simply disgusting.
She made a lot of sacrafices for me. :) She wanted to keep living where we were living after my parents divorced (and my dad basically disappeared) because the town we lived in had/has one of the best school systems in the state. So she taugh during the day, was a tupperware dealer (so worked about 2 nighs a week at that just for cash flow) and sometimes taught adult ed classes or did storytelling shows for kids. Don't tell her she should move out of her house to make room for someone younger. Fortuantely she has long term care insurance (something she decided to do after our experience with my grandpa) so if she gets to the point where she needs medical help it will be paid for and she can stay in her home. Kerry Healey can B*** ME!
But I wasn't going to mention it. It could be the makeup. He was in a different location today. It could be the lighting in that particular studio. It could be he has been working 25/8 lately. He sure sounded good though.

The Patrick campaign released this ad today, his first negative one and honestly compared to the latest Healey ads it is pretty tame. It should really speak to older citizens of the Commonwealth.
