Thom Hartmann's views about Air America...

| | | | | | |

You know what?  He is right!

To all of those righties, gloom and doomers and even some here that have been saying Air America was dead.. read below. If you think "news corp" (faux news and all) was profitable and had no problems in the beginning then you would be soooo WRONG!

Thom Hartmann has a piece at Huffington Post that is a MUST read concerning AAR.

What we need is someone like Gore, Soros or someone who has a vision and deep pockets. After the upcoming elections and the 2008 elections, look for people to be running to AAR and away from the righties.  The heartland needs a new "heart" and it is not rush limpball.

Here is a piece...

Why Air America Matters - Thom Hartmann

That's certainly what Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch thought when they lost an average of $90 million a year for about five years before the Fox News Channel became profitable. It's what Reverend Moon believes, as his Washington Times newspaper lost hundreds of millions of dollars and, according to some reports, even today continues to lose money.

And its what the people who have made Air America Radio possible - names you probably wouldn't recognize because they've invested millions of their own money but don't seek the limelight - believe.
