Action needed at Daily Kos

Iraq | IWR vote | primaries | Iraq

There is a diary over on Daily Kos about some hypothetical speech that John Kerry should give re Iraq.
I posted a comment that rather than Kerry giving a mea culpa to make him palatable in 2008, how about we look to
Clark, Feingold, Conyers, Boxer, et.al. who were right about Iraq all along for leadership and bypass the whole
flip-flop, mealy mouthed, mea culpa crap.
There is some revisionist post over there in which Clark was attacked as "having the same position as Kerry" and
supporting the IWR. Several folks recommended that comment. I called bullshit. Please go weigh in

Hi Sharon,
That DKos thread is a prime example of why I neither read nor post there. The signal-to-noise ratio at DKos is infinitessimal; way way more heat than light, and too much shivving for one's own candidates at the expense of the party and policy.
As it happens, i think Barrack Obama is a great candidate and I hope like hell that he ends up Wes' VP. I think the two of them would be an awesome ticket, and I think 8 years as VP would put Obama in a position of undeniable credentials to succeed Wes as President. I think an Obama 2016 presidency would be great for the U.S. in so so many ways.
But ... I'm not going to get into a sewer-slinging-snit with the people at DKos over this.
