2008 Presidential Election | stephen colbert
Rasmussen reports did a poll including colbert as a candidate. Looks like the country really does see this election as a joke, and the republicans aren't laughing. 18-29 year olds prefer him to either Thompson or Giuliani. Ouch. For more info see their full report here.

Like most supporters of General Clark, I wondered why he hasn't announced yet. I wondered why he was being so down at the DNC Winter Meeting instead of trying to pump everyone up.
Then I saw Hillary Clinton's speech. "If we in Congress don’t end this war before January 2009, as president, I will." We're in the middle of the greatest foreign policy disaster in our history, and here's my Senator saying that if she doesn't get around to doing anything about it while she's busy running for President, she'll do something in two years and only if elected President.

Today's Boston Globe demonstrates some of the most well know Romney "evolutions" of the past several years in comical form. Why are they "evolutions"
(or devolutions as the case may be) when we talk about Republicans and flip flops when we talk about Democrats. Romney is a flip flopper!
Mitt Romney... he was for Massachusetts before he was against it.

For the first time Rasmussen has done a heads up poll between Wes Clark and John McCain. Under a banner titled "Election 2008: McCain Crushes Kerry and Clark"
http://news.yahoo.com/...
the results of this first time ever poll were that McCain got 51% of the vote to Clark's 33%. McCain also beat Kerry by 53% to 35%. "Most voters (59%) have a favorable opinion of John McCain. Most (53%) also have an unfavorable opinion of John Kerry, the Democratic standard bearer in 2004. Clark is less well known than either and is currently viewed favorably by 39% of all voters."
