I was very fortunate to meet you when you visited Seattle in early October for your book signing at the private reception attended by Stan Davis, Kelly Flinn, Darcy Burner, and others. I go to the University of Washington and I’d like to update you on some good news and also share some more serious thoughts with you. I hope you can spend several minutes considering them.

If you're as troubled as I am when some of the "leading" 2008 Democratic candidates for president try to brush off responsibility for the state of affairs in Iraq by repeating Republican talking points chastising Iraqis for not being willing to "stand up" so we can "stand down", Nightprowlkitty's diary will possibly strike a chord.
