Yeah right
"The judiciary should not have a check on the legislative or executive branches. "
These are the words of Sen. Jeff Sessions this morning in an article regarding his opinion of the U.S Supreme Court decision last week regarding Guantanamo prisoners.
As the story goes, the Supremes decided 5-4 that the U.S. Government is violating the rights of terrorism suspects as Guantanamo Bay by not giving them a right to argue in Civil court.
Experts: Interrogation Techniques Amateurish, Unreliable (And I say immoral)

Abu Ghraib | Guantanamo Bay | Prisoner Interrogation

As an old Army intelligence officer, an article in today’s NYT caught my attention. It reports that as the Bush administration completes secret new rules governing interrogations, a group of experts advising the intelligence agencies is arguing that the harsh techniques used since the 2001 terrorist attacks are outmoded, amateurish and unreliable. (And I might add immoral.) They argue that more than five years after September 11, the Bush administration still hasn’t created an elite corps of interrogators.
