Yeah right
"The judiciary should not have a check on the legislative or executive branches. "
These are the words of Sen. Jeff Sessions this morning in an article regarding his opinion of the U.S Supreme Court decision last week regarding Guantanamo prisoners.
As the story goes, the Supremes decided 5-4 that the U.S. Government is violating the rights of terrorism suspects as Guantanamo Bay by not giving them a right to argue in Civil court.
What should we do with those suspected of committing a terrorist act?

Before we address that question, let’s look at some potentially troubling history.
It could be argued that Harry Truman ordered the two single largest terrorist attacks in all of human history. Was President Truman a terrorist?
During WWI, Winston Churchill authorized the aerial gassing of the Kurds in northern Iraq. Was the right honorable Minister Churchill a terrorist?
Certainly the aerial bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War was an act intended to terrorize. Was Francisco Franco a terrorist?
Were the US and UK pilots who fire-bombed Dresden terrorists?
Were the Minutemen who hid behind trees and wore civilian clothing while they shot uniformed British soldiers terrorists?
