Go to Kos and please recommend! (and leave comments)

He never said he's not going to run and he's not going to commit to a timeline on when he has to announce. The early campaign season is good for two groups of people - the fundraisers and the consultants. The average citizen won't make up their mind until much later in the game.

Daily Kos: Why I Support General Wesley Clark For President

|

djm4america's picture

Then, I have been seeing this race unfold since then and I have come to the conclusion that Clark is the best candidate for the Democratic Party in 2008 and have come to the conclusion in all seriousness and honesty that he could beat any Republican in 2008.

Clark Clearly The Dark Horse Candidate Now

|

djm4america's picture

I just wrote a diary on Daily Kos, link below please read and recommend!

With Tom Vilsack out, I think Wes Clark is clearly the Dark Horse candidate now. For a long time I thought that Vilsack may have edged out Clark in this category being that Visack is a Governor, and the immediate Governor of Iowa.

But, I did't anticipate Vilsack's entrance to have so few supporters. Although Kos is correct in saying that Clark support is fading it's still very strong, and he's clearly #3 in Netroots support right now.

Fact or Fiction?

I've been watching

Tavis Smiley’s - “State of Black America”

which has been on C-Span all day today, both prior to, and after Obama’s speech. I was struck before Obama's speech, and have always been impressed with the enormous number of great orators the Black community have. They speak without written speeches, just off the cuff, and Obama pales in comparison to the majority of them.

I'm not dissing Obama, just rather bemused at the fuss over him.

Many of us are stressing about a potential run, an announcement or exploratory.  So, what better time to start a project we can all help with and keep our minds busy?

With the help of our Westcott, I’ve put up a mediawiki for Wes on my site.  It may eventually be moved to a site of it’s own, but that will come later.  Right now we need your help.  We need the information plugged into the wiki and that’s where you come in.  We’ve outlined a structure, which of course can and will be molded as we move along, but it’s a place to start.

911 Rescue Dogs are Sick and Dying

|

This is a sad video on CNN but I think it's
important to remember what a contribution these
owners and their dogs made and now they're both
paying for it through sickness and even death

Joe's picture

Hello Clarkies and thank you for the warm welcome. I'm working on a collection of video and audio files of WKC speeches, ads and guest appearances. This will be collected at http://Clark08.US/vid/ and hosted on my own server. I've got a lot of stuff from the '04 run, mostly from Ken in Seattle. If anyone has content they would like to have hosted there, please contact me (joe@Clark08.US) and I'll find a way to transfer them. If any webmonkeys out there would like to fix up a front page for Clark08.US, I'd be very glad for the help.

Also, @Clark08.US addresses are available for free to CCN members, just drop me a line.

I'm just curious is this community going into Hiatus for 2007 or simply going into 2008 mode and skipping elections in 2007?

The Keys to the Whitehouse 2008

This diary passed into oblivion at KOS early sunday morning...

The Keys to the Whitehouse 2008, my view and guesses about the score so far.

Excerpt:
The difficult prospects for Republicans in 2008 explain much of today’s politics. The 2006 midterm elections are so critical because the mandate key turns on the outcome. The president and Republicans in Congress have pushed for the “nuclear option” to end judicial filibusters by majority vote because this is likely their last chance to fill the Courts with reliable conservatives. And the president is bucking public opinion on the rewriting of Social Security to win the pivotal Policy Change Key 7 for 2008.
