Wes Talking on Ethanol

There's been much discussion about Wes taking a leading roll regarding ethanol. For some it's worrisome. Clearly, when you listen to him speak about the subject, it's clear that he understands the concerns people have with ethanol. He also gives credit to American farmers for being concerned about the environment. He doesn't address the issue of taking corn for food and using it for fuel instead, although he does talk about how much more corn a farmer can grow now compared to years ago in relation to land use.

Wow! So John McCain has really proven his "feminist" street cred by picking Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his VP. Oh yes, and aren't they both such mavericks! McCain-Palin just smells like real change now, doesn't it?

Clark and Boxer on climate change, Iraq, and more

| | |

Just released! This week's podcast is a conversation between Wes Clark and MY Senator from California. They discuss this month's topic -- global climate change -- as well as other emergent issues like Iraq. This is a good one and longer than our normal 8-10 minutes. They went on for 18 minutes. We thought the conversation was so good that we kept the whole thing.
