You know nobody is perfect and I never claimed to come close. Reading the comments made on here really hurt since they were mischaracterizations of who I really am. But as I reflect, I realize, none of you really know me.
Cheryl Levy & Ann Weissman maybe knew me the best from the Clark Campaign. Instead of letting time go by and letting everyone see the real me I rushed in. I hope maybe this absence by me and a sense of forgiveness in the hearts of those who cast stones at me will allow us all to get reacquainted. Most of all we can all get to know the real us and be a community.

Aside from the great Clarkie reunion on Friday night, I wanted to experience my last day at Chicago wandering the streets; instead of blogging about our troubles and hopes for a democracy once adored. So I had 2 hours to wander and experience the sights and sounds of Chicago before my flight back to my world.
Here are some shots that I wanted to share with CCN as I took a detour from McCormicks onto Michigan Ave, Lolapalooza and the Art Gallery of Chicago.
I hope you're "impressed" by Renoir and Monet, particularly. :)

Edison on renewables
by Elbert Hubbard
Reader R writes: "The following piece of writing illustrates the views of Mr. Thomas Alva Edison on the alternative energy sources like solar energy, wind energy etc. Just an interesting piece which gives a peek into the mind of the great genius."
Source: Interview in Elbert Hubbard's Little Journeys to the Homes of the Great (Vol. 1 of 14), now in the public domain and available from Project Gutenberg.
The interview apparently took place in 1910. The original has much more on Edison.
