Yeah, that title is not an oxymoron, there are still some adults left on the net.

I have to cut the grass and do other gardening chores today but wanted to draw attention to this terrific diary by Jerome Armstrong.

He's answering the new Obama Haka that KY and WV should be ignored....

Jerome Armstrong has a good piece up right now showing that Obama's blocking of the FL and MI re-vote may have actually given Hillary the opening she needs....

It ain't over.

Jerome gives us the numbers.....

While Obama supporters remain extremely worried about Clinton's chances of winning, and her state of campaign finances. I can't help but recognize that the call to shut down the nomination battle before all the votes are counted, hopefully a position held by a vocal minority, is unfortunately reminiscent of the Bush supporters mantra against Gore in Dec of 2000.

I also can't help but notice that Clinton does seem to have much better chances than Obama in the upcoming races:

Everybody knows....

that the Republicans currently in power are figureheads for big business and the small group of wealthy elite who benefit from government policy at the expense of everyone else.

With control over all branches of government, this wealthy elite is succeeding in ruthlessly wiping out 40 years of work done by progressive interest groups.

When I've asked fellow environmentalists and fellow animal rights activists about joining forces, the answer I usually get is that they do not want to lose focus and dilute their message. And so each battle is fought on its own against a powerful enemy that has control of all the levers of power.
