By popular demand (well, 2 or 3 CCN bloggers), Brick TeeVee is moving off the General Discussion thread on Saturday Night Clark-After-Dark to its very own blog entry. Here we can blog about what we saw and heard on the Sunday Gab-fests. And, as a bonus, we can also post stories about the outrageous claims made on Sunday, deciphered by other Poly-Sci "analysts", from MSM and well-respected bloggers, that come out later. Post anything you find to debunk the CRAP you hear on Sunday Talkie CorporoMedia!

It has been repeated so often as to become a rhetorical tic: "Iraq will be the number one issue in the 2008 elections." If that is true, we're looking into the wrong end of the telescope. And we're going to pay for it. Worse, if Democratic candidates remain focused on Iraq, our party and our nation are going to get shot down. Just ask John Boyd.
Why Do People Support Mr. Bush

Out of all the discussions I have had it has lead me to believe that what leads those insisting that the president is above reproach is a fear and hatred against Muslims, and probably more so a fear. A fear that we will be taken over by Muslim culture, religion, beliefs, etc. This fear blinds them from the reality that we are actually being sold to Sadia Arabia who loans us money to conduct this war and who collects great wealth from our oil consumption.
If you study the culture and get to know a Muslim or two, you'll find that they are people just like you or I and within all religions and cultures you have fanatics.
Something I wish someone (candidate) would say:

Something roughly along these lines...
This may be one of the few times in political history when it no longer matters what party you belong to, or if you're part of the roughly 50% who don't vote. Forget about finding an issue to get behind. Let's make it a simpler:
If you agree with everything the Bush Administration has done since 2000, and want President Bush and his administration to have unfettered power to continue on their current course for the next two years - vote Republican.
Here's what will happen if President Bush's Republican Party retains control of both houses of Congress: President Bush will consider this a mandate that justifies anything and everything he wants to do - no matter what it is - and he will have two more years to carry out those plans without worrying that Congress will try to stop him. They won't. They've already demonstrated that.
