"I will not miss the silence"

.....Most of all, I will not miss the silence.

I will not miss the deafening, depressing silence of Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean or other leading Democrats, who to my knowledge (with the exception of Sen. Barbara Mikulski of Maryland) haven't uttered a word of public outrage at the unrelenting, sex-based hate that has been hurled at a former first lady and two-term senator from New York. Among those holding their tongues are hundreds of Democrats for whom Clinton has campaigned and raised millions of dollars.....

Why Nominate Someone Who Has Less Than Half the Party Supporting Them?

Nick Kelly's picture

I just posted a diary over at MyDD asking whether people think its a good idea for the Democratic Party to nominate someone with less than half the support of the Democratic Party.

Lies about The Rules.

Poached from Jon Winkleman at MyDD who asks that we forward this far and wide because....

Obama and his supporters are deliberately spreading misinformation regarding the timing sanctions against both Florida and Michigan. Much of the media is parroting their press releases without referring to the actual DNC Delegate Selection Rules for 2008.

CNN/YouTube Democratic Debate Thread (7.23.07)

Knightrider's picture

Might as well have a separate thread(?)

Since there may be little substance to them:

1. Who had the best YouTube question?

2. Who had the worst?

3. Which Dem candidate had the best hair? ;p

4. Which was the best "softball" question?

5. Recommend other questions?

Go for it :I

The idea for this came from here...

I expanded on the idea by going ahead with an ActBlue page.

We The People - the $6.06 page

Democratic National Committee

Make a donation now to show the Democratic Party that they are OUR party and not the "corporate" party.

A donation of $6.06 was suggested as a token amount to show the party that we are here and we are watching. Give more if you can but make sure you add the .06 to whatever amount you choose to give.
