Calling all Clarkies! We have seven days before we change the country for the better, but we need your help now, and all this next week, to do that. WesPAC needs you to volunteer some time to phone bank for the candidates listed below. We'll be adding more candidates in the days to come too. Whether you can make 10 calls or 100 calls or more - every call counts!
Please contact the state coordintors listed below each candidate, and they will get you set up to phone bank. Thank you for everything you're doing to help General Clark and WesPAC get Democrats elected on November 7th!
An Indiana Voting Story

Election Reform

For your reading pleasure while the voting is happening. Let's hope the current Supreme Court decision on voter ID doesn't disenfranchise many voters today. It is probably the truth, however, that the refusal of Mortimor Jeffries' ballot was because of the person he had voted for (Lincoln) and not because of his perceived racial ancestry.
This is a real story; it's been a part of my family history forever. While some of the details I grew up with are fictional, the basic story is the same. And is part of the state's legal history.

Received a lengthy email from BlackBox voting today that I'm paraphrasing here for anyone in Iowa and also with some general information about a few sticky problems integrity-wise still needing to be resolved. I know we only have a few Iowans here but if anyone reading knows someone in Iowa, please refer this post... for us all.

My title is shocking! Well, the truth is it's part of our body and we all have it, but you wonder why I started with one of our needed body parts. Well, first, because mine aches as I am writing... It's not aching because I have been sitting for hours in the office or in front of my computer, but because I had a great opportunity to ride a white horse in New Jersey state; and I do hope I get to discover more states and our beautiful country, and to continue to appreciate what our founding fathers have established and our soldiers are willing to sacrifice for.

Why is Barbara Boxer so scared?

I just got off the phone from a blogger conference call with the lovely Senator Boxer and a dozen or so bloggers. Which should be a feel-good thing. A thing that makes you swell with the pride and glory of being represented by such a hardworking, fair-minded, strong leader, public servant... should be a smiley faced moment...
But Barbara Boxer, my friends, is very scared.
