Clark V Rove: The Warrior-Scholar faces down the Chicken Hawk-Dropout

| | | | |

Get your popcorn poppin’ and grab a front row seat for the Mother of all Debates— the true battle of Good vs Evil. General Wes Clark V Karl Rove. It all goes down in just a few weeks in the “Home of the Bulls” at the University of Buffalo.

General Clark has long confessed how he relishes “Going into the Lion’s Den”…. Well, this time he’ll be entering the ‘Bull’s Den’ to face off against the master of Bull himself; “Turd Blossom” aka Rove.

Rovian brilliance?

Steve Soto has a piece up about the decline in contributions to Obama.

....1. The primary campaign is over and with Hillary vanquished, his donors are hibernating. This is quite plausible, but his fundraising has been going down steadily since he pulled past her in the delegate race and since he and his campaign fed the narrative that he was the presumptive nominee.

The importance of being vetted

Is the vetting beginning?

I just hope it won't be too little, too late.

Ben Smith at Politico has the story though Larry Johnson has been talking about this for weeks...

A man who raised money for Obama early on in his career just happenes to be a former terrorist.....who says this.....

“I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough,” Ayers told the New York Times in 2001.

Meanwhile, Obama is of course trying to down play his association with Mr. Ayers ......

Wes Clark knows our security comes from living up to our democratic ideals, not

the use of force.

This is a draft of a diary inspired by Tom Rinaldo's recent diary linked to below. I'm thinking about posting it to dailykos. If anyone has the time and inclination to look at it to make suggestions, especially on pruning it back because it's too long, I'd very much appreciate it. Suggestions on best time to post would also be appreciated.
Thanks:)

It's sad that some of our leading Democratic presidential candidates feel compelled to compete with one another to show who's tougher on national security.

Trapped in a Bad Sequel.

Two Giant Tips of the Hat to Chip for recommending that I watch the original version of the "The Conversation" and for recommending the inclusion of the Matthew Dowd story in this post...

Watching the goings-on in Washington lately, I couldn’t help but notice a pattern here. Every single story or scandal seems to be a loose translation of a movie I’ve seen before. So, I thought I’d write about three of these stories as if I were scripting movie trailers for fictitious films...

Coming to a country near you - A Republican Neo-Con Fascist form of government

| | | | | | | | | | |

I have talked about this in the past. About the bigger plan that people like Karl Rove and groups like PNAC and such have in store for countries around the world, not just for the USA.

Thier plan is to insert thier form of "government" (religious corporatist fasicm) into Canada (first step has been taken), Mexico (second step has been taken), Eruope (EU was a big first step and when you look at the links below you will see more first steps in other countries) and most important to them is China and India (nothing like billions of slaves to do your bidding).

They do not care about country or patriotism, they only care about power, control and money. This has all been done in the past on different scales but what they are aiming for is a loose knit "one world goverment" (corporations and the mega rich).
