It has been nearly a year since I have written here at CCN, and I must confess to being more than a little bit surprised to discover that Gen. Clark has started advocating for an E15 ethanol blend and seemed to be defending corn ethanol. I will admit up front I have my biases against the corn ethanol industry but I don't think of myself as an ideologue. I am open to new ideas, new information, the reality of improving ethanol technology, fresh evidence and new data.

Does Obama need an attack dog like Wesley Clark for Vice President?
July 30, 2008 - 7:47am.By Hal Brown
General Wesley Clark supposedly ruined his chances for the Veep selection with his remarks about McCain fighter jock experience and POW years not qualifying him to be president. Apparently a tendency to bluntly tell the unvarnished truth was deemed a trait not suitable to make the "short list". But now McCain is playing dirty, so maybe Obama needs a straight shooter who really knows how to shoot.

The issue of someone telling
General Wesley Clark: "I'm not
going to start WWIII for you"
keeps showing up here and there.
As either a concern by someone who
is just getting to know about Clark,
or as a negative by an opponent.
Actually, there's nothing to be
concerned about. It's an overblown
incident about chain of command
in NATO,
with a subordinate general from
another country challenging the
Supreme Allied Commander from the
U.S.
So that Clark supporters have
asked about how to reply to this meme.
From my message in General
Discussion on this meme, here's
my comment and reply to that
