Many of us get into arguments discussions over at dKos and elsewhere when Edwards supporters tout the fact that his apology for his IWR vote absolves him of all sin. In fact they go a step further by slamming Hillary for standing by her vote. Personally I don't care whether she apologizes or not. To me it was the original vote that was the sin, and no amount of recanting (when things turned to sh*t) will wipe it away.

There is a diary over on Daily Kos about some hypothetical speech that John Kerry should give re Iraq.
I posted a comment that rather than Kerry giving a mea culpa to make him palatable in 2008, how about we look to
Clark, Feingold, Conyers, Boxer, et.al. who were right about Iraq all along for leadership and bypass the whole
flip-flop, mealy mouthed, mea culpa crap.

There is some revisionist post over there in which Clark was attacked as "having the same position as Kerry" and
supporting the IWR. Several folks recommended that comment. I called bullshit. Please go weigh in
