General Wesley Clark will be the keynote speaker for the South Dakota Democratic Party's McGovern Day event this year. This year's McGovern Day event is a salute to South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson. It will be held Saturday at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Also joining in the festivities will be Special Guest Senator George McGovern.

Party Chairman Jack Billion expects it to be the most successful fundraiser in the annual event history.

General Clark will speak during the evening reception and banquet, which starts at 6 p.m.
