Jim Brandt, a Marine Vietnam veteran who served during the Vietnam War, will ensure that Homeland Security funds are properly used to defend our ports and critical infrastructure. Returning to civilian life, he became a successful entrepreneur, founding and managing his own software company and providing IT support for 12,000 people. He did this while raising three children as a single parent.
