A podcast is an audio file that can be delivered directly to your computer each time a new podcast is published -- automatically.

Podcast audio files do not require an iPod or special MP3 player. You can subscribe using any computer. All you need is an internet connection , a computer, and a way to listen -- either speakers or headphones.

You will also need to install some extra software.
