For the past five years, we've tried one-party government in America. And what has it gotten us? Troops being sent into battle without the proper equipment to keep them safe. A President who believes he is above the law. Fiscal recklessness that is saddling our children with tens of thousands of dollars in debt. A Republican culture of corruption that has yielded investigations, indictments, and resignations.

From the time she was first elected as a tough county prosecutor, fighting to make her local community safer, to her current role as Missouri's State Auditor where she has been a fiscal watchdog for taxpayers, Claire McCaskill has stood on principle and conviction.

On important issues like research into lifesaving cures, taking care of our troops, helping our seniors with the skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs, and protecting our solemn commitment to Social Security, Claire McCaskill speaks clearly.
