I just received an urgent note from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. There are three candidates we need to help right now in these final 24 hours before the polls close.
Eric Massa (NY-29), Dan Seals (IL-10), and David Boswell (KY-02) need your support to fund urgent media buys and the expansion of last minute get out the vote operations. They need to pay for extra boots on the ground that could be the difference between winning and losing tomorrow.
Can you rush a last minute donation to Eric, Dan, and David?
Two weeks ago I told you that Eric Massa was being swiftboated. Well, it's still happening. Last week, another letter to the editor was printed in a local paper attacking his military record.
It's clear his opponent has a small clutch of 8-10 people spreading these lies to local papers, and yet with the exception of one, all of the local newspapers have refused to print the letter I wrote for Eric defending his service to our country.
Dan Seals is running against Mark Kirk in Illinois' 10th Congressional District. Dan believes that it's time for change in America. It's time to move forward and solve the real challenges that face our nation -- from the economy, to health care, to the cost of gasoline, to Iraq and our foreign policy.
Two years ago, Dan came up a few points short, and this time, the race is once again neck-and-neck. Barack Obama will win this suburban district, and has cut a radio ad for Dan that if voters in the district hear, will help carry Dan to victory tomorrow.
David Boswell is running for the open seat in Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District. David's background as a state legislator and his work as Kentucky's Commissioner of Agriculture make him a strong candidate. He has been a strong advocate of open and fair government, and he is invested in making full use of Kentucky's natural resources to increase our country's energy independence.
This is a tough district that George Bush carried handily, but the most recent polling shows David with a very slim lead. To win, he needs to make sure all the new voters coming out to the polls for the presidential election, vote down the ballot and check David's name.
We're moments from making history. Thank you so much for being a part of it with me.
Sincerely,
