5/25/06 - General Wesley Clark in Kosovo: A Journey in Photos

General Clark is greeted by well-wishers at the NewKo Llamkos Steel L.L.C. factory in Vushtrri. Llamkos Steel employes approximately 400 workers and is one of several re-emerging industries in Kosovo.

During this visit to Kosovo, General Clark toured the New KO Llamkos Steel L.L.C, in Vushtrri accompanied by hundreds of employees.
Mr. Jahja Lluka, the President of the Association for the Return of Albanians to their Homeland, presents the Hasan Prishtina award to General Clark. Also in the photo, Valon Ahmeti, Millitary Assistant to the Commander of the Kosovo Protection Corp (KPC's). He acted as translator for General Clark during the visit. Mr. Ahmeti graduated with honors at the Citadel.

The Prime Minister of Kosova, Mr. Agim Ceku, welcomes General Wesley Clark to Kosovo.
Prime Minister Agim Ceku accompanies General Clark to Djakovica where local authorities named a street in his honor.
Valentin Zahariev, the owner of NewKo Llamkos Steel L.L.C (on Gen. Clark's immediate right) and other dignitaries toured the steel factory.
